Love this for keeping control of my cholesterol, but it does give me little mussel pain.

Great quality, no side effects, easy to swallow

I tried red yeast rice about 8 years ago when my cholesterol was 250 and my doctor wanted to put me on cholesterol medication. Of course I didn’t want to do that, so started researching how to reduce cholesterol without taking meds with side affects. I found red yeast rice on amazon and read the reviews. They were positive and so many reduced their cholesterol. So, I started taking 2 capsules per day with Co-Q10. It lowered my total cholesterol over 40 points and the LDL cholesterol. I stopped taking it a few years back thinking I was probably ok without it- wrong!! Last year my total cholesterol was 243 and triglyercides 195…..I knew I needed red yeast rice again. I've taken it consistently for over 9 months and just got blood work back. My total cholesterol was 201 and triglycerides were 144; under 150!! I was so pleased and wanted to share this and encourage others that if you were as concerned as I was and couldn’t count on just your diet or exercise to lower your cholesterol, consider this product. It really gives you peace of mind knowing you could lower your cholesterol without prescription statins which are not good for you.

Obviously, I’m not a medical professional so I cannot write about why I take red yeast or whether or not I feel that it works, but what I can write about here is that I had no side effects. There was no weird taste, and I found that it was a great value for my money. Also great quality. They were very easy to swallow.

Product works well. I have used it for 3 years and will continue.

exactly what we expected

A couple capsules opened in this large container. I’m assuming that’s what made a terrible taste. I liked the larger size bottle but was unhappy with this brand.

I did not go to the doctor for blood test yet, but I like this because it does not have an after taste effect in my mouth and very easy to swallow.

Had a great expectation from these pills; regrettably they didn't deliver. Caused a painful flip-flopping in my chest, so I stopped using them (gave it a try for two weeks).
