Easy to use; they work well I spliced four wires underground and it has been six months in wet conditions with no issues. These are sturdy. They have seals. I think these will do for the long haul (several years) underground and keeping the splices water-free). My application was with 10 gauge wire. It fit. Highly recommended.

I used these on a DIY LED light build that was to be built as water tight as possible. These allowed me to join all my wiring this with ease. Completely waterproof when used properly and hold very tight. A real asset to build quality. Highly recommend these -certainly for getting (2 ) at this price. 5 star product!

Screw terminal blocks are less than ideal for AC power connections as heavy gauge solid wires are difficult to line up and insert far enough for a secure clamp without blocking the other side (there is no stop in the middle, and no visibility through the opaque plastic). After considerable maneuvering, five of the six seated properly but one of the hot legs was blocked so required adjustment for the circuit to work (had that been a neutral or ground, the circuit potentially could have been closed but unsafe). The gasket sealed reasonably well around the flat cable but is likely not waterproof. I think it's a good option for what it's designed to do, which could be described more clearly in the description.

I used this box to make a connection from a water pump in my outdoor fountain where the cord exits the waterproof cord weatherhead and connects to the actual power wires. It is in a dry area within the fountain structure, but could get wet if sprayed or rained on heavily. Worked out great and is better than just plugging two cords together.

These boxes are well made and detailed. They work very well for their intended purpose. However for my application I had to drill holes in the box and cover to install a waterproof fuse holder and a waterproof switch. The wiring got quite tight inside the box but I couldn't use a box that was physically larger. One hint to make your life easier. The four screw holes for the cover are a bit too small for the screws. The screws are tiny and you'll strip the phillips head trying to force them in. Enlarge the holes with a #42 drill bit and the screws go right in and still hold tight.

I have used several of these over the past year, and they are useful, with reservations. If you need to splice or extend a low voltage line, they are fine. However, you cannot run two lines out; it only accepts one line in and one out. I drilled a hole in the side and cannibalized a connector from another box to take off a third line. The box is also very small and it is a tight fit if you use normal connectors and not the included one. The screws are also very tight to thread, and even a new Phillips bit is hard to use without mangling the soft heads.

If I had anything to criticize these for it's that stripping the heads off of the screws is a little too easy if you're putting them in, taking them out, putting them back in again while getting a project set up. But once you've got everything tied together and those screws are tight, it seems like a winning solution. I ended up connecting several devices back to their 12VDC power sources with these and even after opening them up a few weeks after installing them there's no sign of moisture in the enclosure.

These are nice boxes and work well. Only issue . . . I suspect the head of the screws provided may not be Phillips but something like Pozidrive or Frearson. (Cross heads used in Europe and maybe Asia) The plastic holes are tight, and no size of Phillips I could find would nicely drive the screws without mashing the cross head. For the 2nd box, I will slightly drill out the screw holes before attempting to screw them in (or find an appropriate driver. I must have one somewhere.) That said, these are nice little boxes, and the cable seal seems to work well. Yes I would recommend.

Die Durchführungen sind zu klein, ein Aussenkabel (3*1,5) kann man hier nur mit viel Kraftaufwendung durchführen. Es gibt nur einen Gummiring und keine weiteren Gummiadapter. Die Box hat den unter Wasser Einsatz (Staunässe bei Regen) auch nicht bestanden an den Kabeldurchführungen kam Wasser in die Box.
