this thing is not solid and it has to be at the perfect angle to work and even then it seems distorted, the only good part is the free included magnifier is awesome and I use it all the time

Yellow Bar Obscures Text
The yellow bar, which is arguably unnecessary, is not completely transparent and the letters look fuzzy. Also noticed some of the distortion that others complained about. Design and construction leave much to be desired, e.g., sturdiness. Will return this item.

Raised bar allows clear magnification.
I didn't realize that it would be raised, but that actually is helpful. The 3x magnification is very clear and it helps me with eye strain.
