Great Feeder Cups
It was delivered on time. I really like this feeder cup. Because it is shallow, it allows my parakeet to pick what he wants and does not waste food. With the old cup, I was using 3 scoops of food daily but in this cup I am using only 1 cup. The birds never sat on the perch on the old cups. The wire hook in thin and stationary which allows for easy placement in the cage. My cage bars are 3/8”. I purchased the medium first and went back for the large. Either will work.

Perfect for small birds
I don't know what makes these so appealing to my finishes. In fact I think they would prefer to eat out of these than typical bird feeder cups. I have 2 owl finches and 2 Gouldians; not sure who likes them more. Easy to clean and position in the cage. I use them for most anything, treats, eggs, greens, .... Best of all they are the perfect size. Changed my rating from 5 to 4 stars only because of the price. Seems high to me (but it didn't stop me from ordering 2 more) lol

Perfect feeding dish for canaries. Saves money on quality bird seed.
Used this product, med size dish, for canaries. The dish that came with the cage was very large & had to be filled to the top for the birds to eat. I buy quality seed and I was wasting so much, it was so expensive. These feeding cups are the perfect size for the birds, and I can fill daily and save on the cost of seeds. Instead of 1/4 cup of seeds I can feed then the 2 tsp. daily and still save on seed costs. I would purchase this product again.

More for a finch
I have parakeet, it's a great feeder for a small bird but my parakeet is very active and would yank it off of the cage, would be great for a finch. I replaced all my feeders with the large ones, they are pricy but he couldn't yank them off. They are shallow so no wasting the seeds. The larger ones are Great

Great Design, But Overpriced
These cups were exactly the size and shape that I wanted. Most cups that are included in cages designed for small birds are so deep that the poor little bird has to almost stand on its head in order to eat. These cups are even made with a wider curved area on the cup itself where a small bird can easily perch and be comfortable while eating. The size large fits the openings for the cups in my standard-size parakeet cage. The only reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 was the cost. Even though the design is great, they are still only made of thin plastic and two short wire hooks for attachment . . . they should not cost about $8.00 each.

THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST
These feeding dishes are shallow and and made of clear plastic. (The feeding dishes that came with the cage are white plastic and quite deep.)We have two parakeets in a medium size cage and always had to find another way of feeding them because the feeders that came with the cage were always way too deep and 100% impractical. These are absolutely perfect. You can put a small amount of seeds in them which makes it easy for the birds to forage through the seeds and choose the ones they want. Also it's easy to see whether you need to change the seeds.Because of the way these feeding dishes are shaped, the birds can even sit on the lip of the feeder to eat. I've had parakeets for decades and never have I found such excellent feeding dishes as these.I ended up ordering the LARGE size, and as you can see, they fit in the little 'feeder doorways' of the cage perfectly, like if they were made for the cage.I can't say enough good things about these feeding dishes. They are SUPERIOR in design and function!! Highly recommended.

Love these bowls!
I have 2 sets and they are really great for small birds. We have budgies and Linnies. They are on the expensive side at almost $17 for 2 bowls but they work really well for what we need. i like that they are small and shallow.

Perfect!
I needed small feeder dishes for grit and bits of fruit/veggies for my new gouldian finches from gouldian guy Kevin! These are perfect for what I needed. Quality feeders with the cutest design and easily hang on cage wire. My birds are wee but I dont do see a larger bird knocking these off either??? Perfect grit or treat dish!!!
