Air fryer lives up to its hype
My brother introduced me to this new type of cooking. I stayed with him in October and we used his machine extensively. What impressed me was how the low fat, using just a tablespoon of oi, the french fries, ok we call it chips in the UK, tasted. I told him I wasn't sure of the results and we repeated the experiment a number of times. On my return to the UK I bought this unit, as a sad and lonely widower I do not need a unit that can cook copious quantities of food, and this unit serves me just fine. The beauty of preparing chips that are ever so tasty with needing to peel the taters are just amazing.Thank you my brother.

Good value way to try an air fryer
I find that I end up buying kitchen gadgets which I use a few times and then stop as the novelty wears off. So i find it better to try these things with an affordable model, if the novelty wears off quickly i haven't lost much, if i use it a lot i am more comfortable about going for something better later. This was only £35, it may not be especially premium but it works and is extremely simple to use. There are two rotary knobs, one to set the temperature and the other to set the time and that's it. Couldn't be simpler. And it works, much healthier than regular frying and keeps most of the taste of fried food. Capacity is OK and it is easy to clean. Only criticism is that it is quite bulky. Well worth a try if you're interested in an air fryer but unsure how much you will use it. Recommended.

Has not disappointed.
I bought this Daewoo Air fryer as it was recommended by a neighbour who has been using a Daewoo Air Fryer for over a year without a problem. I prefer digital controls, but the mechanical timer and temperature thermostat on the Daewoo Air Fryer feels positive and smooth to the touch and seems sturdy. I don’t cook extensively with it (having no family) and so decided it was more than adequate for my need. A word of advice, never manually turn/force such mechanical timers back to zero; it will likely break them. If cooking has been completed before the timer has returned to zero just turn the Air Fryer off and the mechanical timer will automatically return to zero; other than that choose a model with digital control.A meat thermometer is recommended to avoid undercooking or overcooking meat and especially chicken. I found that I was cooking too long with two high a temperature for the most succulent results. I bought one from Amazon – the ‘ThermoPro TP02S’ and find it excellent. ‘YouTube’ is a good resource for advice on cooking times and temperatures. I buy nothing from Amazon without consulting the customer reviews, good and bad, but have never bought anything from Amazon that has given cause for concern. I put this down to care of use. Last but not least, cleaning the Air Fryer was easy. Teflon Coating always needs care in washing. I have found that just a gentle wash with warm soapy water using a cloth or sponge (soaking the trivet if necessary for a while) is more likely to preserve the Teflon Coating longer. Daewoo do not advise washing in a dishwasher.

Easy to Use and Fab Food
After reading a lot of reviews and not wanting to spend Ninja money, we plumbed for the Daewoo because it was a name we had used for other products through the years. We have not been disappointed so far. Its a robust item and the capacity is enough for feeding 4 (providing you have something other than just whatever is being done in the Air Fryer - e.g. a bit of steak) but there is enough capacity to do both roasted med veg and sweet potato fries at once. Clean up is dead easy - no scouring, just use a damp kitchen roll. We also bought some accessories on Amazon to try cakes, toast etc. A friend uses his for toasting crumpet and with a cup formed of foil has even done poached/baked eggs. Love this item - just need more guidance/cook book to expand the range of stuff we can cook. BTW - if you want to do a whole chicken, make it a very small one, the basket dimensions (oval) are 7" x 8" x 5" deep

Brilliant!!
I saw mixed reviews but figured It's temporary.. and the cheapest. I was very surprised.. The First use Id say let it burn off the oil, 20 min should do it.. then wash with soap by hand and use. I Cannot tell you how well mine works!!! I use it every night, it cooks fast, and it's super easy to use and clean. It has a timer, and has a loud ding to let you know the time is up.. and it also switches off when the time is up. I love this fryer!! I make just about everything in it! Garlic bread is ready within 5 min, breaded Chicken, fishmongers, you name it!! Excellent buy!
