These are really nice weights for the money. The rubber coating is thick and durable. The lettering is in a recessed area that won’t wear off easily and the center metal sleeve is solid. I’m sure these will hold up forever in my home gym.Anyone who has spent time in the gym will already know this, but this is a tip if you are a newbie setting up a home gym. There are many various sized weights out there. If you look at my pictures you will see I have a 35lb, 15lb, and 10lb racked together and they are all the same size diameter.. this is what you will want when you start doing certain exercises where you touch the ground with your bar like dead lifts for example. Just something to consider while shopping.

I needed some decent 45 lb bumper plates on a budget and these were the answer.Only have used a couple weeks now but the quality seems on point and especially for the price point. I don’t perceive any glaring reasons why this won’t last and do their job. They are a dense hard rubber/low bounce bumper plate which is also what I needed, as I’m using these for deadlifts, rows and the like. These also have a pretty large diameter and touch the floor first when loading my 45 lb and smaller cast iron plates, therefore they make contact with the floor while the cast iron plates do not, also exactly what I was looking/hoping for. While this doesn’t really matter- I like the blue lettering/numbers on them as it matches some other blue accents and accessories in my home gym- again this isn’t really important but I like it nonetheless. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is an amazing buy for the price. This is best used for dead lift weights as the diameter is a bit bigger than most 45lbs weights. makes it easier to slide on and off other weights. Also maybe 3 inches wide so very stable when sitting on the ground. Outside is some kind of vinyl or rubber so its a little kinder to the floor. Highly recommend for this purpose.If you are using this for a use where you would be taking it on and off the bar often. This may not be the one for you as its a bit hard to handle being it is thick and has no handles.

I went to buy a new 25lb bumper and saw that for a few dollars less I could get a used one. Considering they have returns I thought let’s see how it comes out and bought 2.My first used bumper was pristine. I don’t know if the person that returned it pulled it out and put it back in the box. It had some dirt on it but it looked like it was more from storage, like cardboard dust.The second bumper was cleaner but did have a super small scratch. Nothing that takes away from the visual if you care about that. I figured I’m about to rep these into the ground so to me a small scratch isn’t going to matter.Don’t forget to buy 2 since these are sold singularly. Can’t wait to buy more plates and I’m more than likely going to get them used.Edit: I used them and for a few days I thought I was a bit off in my right arm. I went back and I read other reviews stating these weren’t true to weight. I checked mine and sure enough 1 bumper is 25.4lbs and the other is 24.6lbs. This isn’t due to being used it’s definitely a manufacturer issue. I’m leaving it at the 5 stars simply due to affordability, and in hopes that it gets seen. With that said if you are training at or to get to a professional level these aren’t for you. I will be leaving these on my rack as stabilizers once I get new sets. Again these aren’t bad for starters or anyone that wants affordable bumpers just weigh them if you can when you get them so you know where the issue will be.

Before I begin, for those that do not know, these are olympic bumper plates. That means that they are encased in a VERY thick coating of rubber, to ensure that they can be dropped from shoulder height, without damage to your equipment. Because of this, weights like these are VERY BULKY and less can be fit on a given barbell or machine. They are not suitable for general bodybuilding for this reason. If that is why you want them you should consider calibrated metal, or rubber/plastic coated plates instead (if you want noise reduction). As you will be able to fit more on your equipment, and it will likely be easier to load and unload having built in handles, unlike olympic bumper plates, which can be more awkward to take on and off.As for their price and function: these plates can be dropped without damage, look great, and if you get them when they are on sale, are only about 1$ a pound, which is a pretty unbeatable price for this type of gear. If you are into powerlifting or olympic lifting, these are the most bang for the buck you will find... period!Which leads us to the biggest downside of this product... It is both made and sourced from China. Meaning, the shipping with taker longer than the average lifetimes of the Galopogos Island Tortoises... seriously, don't expect them to come anytime soon. Shipping times are erratic and beyond slow.Still worth the price in the end, though. Highly recommend.

I've been looking for affordable bumper plates since COVID. I saw a used set of these on the Marketplace and meandered over to Amazon to see what they cost. The 35#s were going for $2/lb and the 55#s for $2.58/lb. Buying a set of 45#s would have cost me $166 but the single plate 45# were going for $50/ea. So I bought four!They shipped fast and item is as described. Some have complained about the rubber smell. Duh. But it wasn't too bad and I trust will disappear fast. The steel hub seems solid, and so far so good!

I liked the fast shipping and the fact that they didn’t cost too much . They come in a bag that looked yellow but the actual weight was dry to the touch and they did not smell like chemicals like others have stated. All in all it’s a great buy ! I would be buying more by next month for sure as far as durability can’t say only have them for 3 weeks but there no quality issues so far .

I have my own home gym. We use these multiple times a week. They are sturdy and have held up well. I will purchase more! Well worth the money.
