Designer Metals Curtain and Drapery Pole Brackets (Gilded bronze)

We purchased a thick heavy rod along with a set of blackout drapes for our bedroom about a year and a half ago. Last week, I was rudely awakened by the crashing sound of the rod and drapes falling to the floor and taking a nearby lamp along with them. For some reason, the rod manufacturer felt the cheesy cheap zinc rod mounts they bundled with the rod were sufficient for support. Both mounts had literally snapped in half. I searched hardware stores, home improvement stores, discount stores and department stores trying to find new mounts. Pickings were very slim and what little I was able to find were all intended for smaller rods. I started searching online and these were pretty much the only mounts that looked sufficient. I reluctantly ordered them with hopes they would fit and I'm happy to say that they fit and work perfectly. I ordered the nickel finish so it matches the rod. They feel much stronger and sturdier than the mounts they replaced. I don't know exactly what particular metal these are made of but they feel heavy and sturdy. They feel more like steel rather than cheap, lightweight zinc like the mounts they replaced. Hey also look pretty good after installation. Very happy with purchase.

I didn't read carefully enough that these are for a very large curtain rod. They don't work with my skinny version. But I'll keep them for a future window treatment.

I had a window with a large blind that came out 3" from the glass. I knew no normal brackets would fit and let my drapes hang straight down but, these did the job! They are adjustable in depth and came with all the needed hardware. The color I chose matched the pole and there is no contrast but looks like they were made to match my existing hardware. The installation was easy and took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Needed a drill to put in a pilot hole, then the countersinks and screws that were supplied. Very sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. The window clearance had been an issue that kept me from even considering hanging drapes on this particular window. Was very, very happy.

I bought two packs of it and used 3 of them for a long curtain rod in my study room. They work fine, just as they are supposed to and look nice. Just think they should be a little cheaper...

Needed extra support for a longer drapery rod. I had difficulty finding single replacements at a reasonable price. I found these, at 1/3 the price, and have an extra on hand as an added bonus!

My screened porch has a glass door that needs privacy curtains if anyone wants to sleep out there. These brackets are sturdy and have a nice finish. They look good in place. The curved part is quite large, though; too roomy for the rod I planned to use. I bought one of those wide tension shower curtain rods (amazing, they do come in black) and even that has a little too much room to roll. BUT, my carpenter friend has some 2-sided tape that will probably hold it in place.

large drapery brackets. I needed them to hold a wooden drapery rod which normally tend to destroy every cheap bracket due to the larger radius and heavy weight, however, they've been up for over 2 months now with no sign of struggle. Would highly recommend. I bought the caramel bronze and it is true to the color in the picture. I was worried it was going to be too caramel and less bronze but it is a darker hue like the picture shows. doesn't look cheap.

Great brackets. They were perfect for my 1 3/8 wood curtain rod. I have a Drapery work room and these brackets are more cost effective than the ones that come with the rods and they are super strong and durable. Will most likely buy again when all the components are alacarte.
