MINKA-AIREF803DL-CL Artemis - 58 Inch Smart Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit in Coal Finish with Etched Opal Glass

We installed this fan about a month ago. Noticed it had a minor wobble due to unbalanced fan blades. Initially, it was very quiet, but as time has gone on the minor wobble has developed into what sounds like a clicking and bearing noise.Very disappointed as the fan cost double what we were looking to spend and replaced a fan that'd been up since the 80's that managed to push more air more quietly. Small house so we threw out the box soon after installing it to make room so now we have no way to return it.Your experience may vary, but we don't recommend this fan at all. It was easy to install and we were able to hook it up to our bond bridge, but at the rate it is falling apart I don't expect it to last another month and its too loud to sleep with, but too hot to sleep without it.

This fan is beautiful and moves air really well but the App that this fan works with (Bond) does not integrate with Apple Home Kit. The Bond app works fine with Google home and Alexa but for some reason the App developers have a bias against Apple and it's users.

Very happy with this purchase. It was easy to install on vaulted ceiling. Moves a lot of air on low setting. Works off of remote. We happened to get on a great sale.

Wi-Fi and remote control facility with multi level bidirectional speed and dimmed LED light along with very esthetic wings. Absolutely no noise. All what I want and worth what I paid.

Do Not Buy This. Dangerous. We have had this particular fan for man years. The first one was installed in our family room, new construction by professional fan installers. Worked great for years until one day the blade snapped off and almost struck my dad in the head. We called manufacturer mink aire but they said out of warranty too bad. Because we liked the look of the fan we though the broken blade must be a fluke and had another one of the same fans installed. Last week exactly the same thing happened where the blade sheared off and the blade hit the wall and put a dent in it (see pics). Called the store we bought them from and minka aire is giving them problems about a refund asking the home owner (us) to climb 15 feet to look inside the fan for the manufacture date. After spending thousands of dollars on minka aire fans, they have horrible customer service. We also have hunter and Casablanca fans not one issue lasted longer then minka aire. Will not buy their products or recommend them to anyone I know (which is a lot of people because of the work I do). These fans look great but to have the same exact problem over the years is not a fluke just seems to be shoddy work. Btw our hunter fans were less expansive and have been trouble free. With so many choices with companies you’d think they would have better customer service especially when a blade rips of and endangers lives.

This is a very modern looking fan. This fan comes with a balancing kit which only had to use in only one out five Minka Aire fans. I have installed at home. As for longevity, we’ve had these fans for about five years and we are very pleased with their quality and airflow they produce. This 3 bladed fan is wonderful for an office or medium size room. If you need more airflow get the 5 bladed Artemis or one of their helicopter fans!

The fan is not cheap, but high quality fans are expensive. Moves a lot of air even on low. The remote controls everything including reversing. It is silent and there is no vibration. When installing I called their support number. I was connected with a knowledgeable gentleman who knew the product and quickly answered my question. I highly recommend this fan.
