BELL Race Star Flex DLX Helmet

This is an excellent light weight helmet that seems to do everything well. The fit is snug as per previous posts...so you may want to go up a size. I wear a Med Shark Race-R Pro comfortably, but with this helmet I had to order a LG. The LG fits great, and even feels good after installing my Cardo Pack JBL speakers. It may be a bit nosier than my Shark helmet, but not by much. It seems to cool well, as I wore it yesterday while riding in upper 80's lower 90's temps, without getting overly hot (riding a 2016 Honda CBR1000RR SP). The helmet does not buffet or move around on your head at speed, and does a good job of staying in place. I do like the MIPS technology that Bell puts into their helmets. If you don't know what that is...watch a couple of You Tube videos or reviews on RevZilla, and you'll understand. The photochromatic shield changes quickly from completely clear, to a decently dark rose colored tint. I wish it got a little darker...but it definitely works well enough. Ultimately, this was a great purchase for me, and I am pleased with this helmet. 👍

I really like the helmet, it's just crazy tight. Went to a smaller size after my last bell became to loose after less than a year. It's only a problem when taking off the helmet. Literally gave me cauliflower ear. The smaller cheek pads helped, but didn't solver my issue. Just have to be very careful when I pull it off. Good luck getting any response from Bell, been ignored by them for over a year. Guess it's time for a new helmet brand...

Birthday gift for hubby. He loved it! It was exactly as described. He was impressed with all the shields it comes with and the safety features this helmet provides vs others. Also very light weight and fits comfortably.

This is an awesome helmet. Fits great, light weight and comfortable. The photochromatic visor is perfect, never need to carry an extra visor. Great ventilation also. FYI, I use this helmet when riding a 31mph electric skateboard. So you know what I mean when I say Great ventilation, I'm never riding fast, 20-30mph and I never feel hot. I also installed a cardo sound and intercom in it, fits well and sounds good.

I absolutely LOVE this helmet - it is a work of art. The helmet is probably the best I've ever owned, even more so than the Shoei I use for touring. But being a race helmet the fit is too tight for my cheeks. Fits my head perfectly but too tight in the cheeks. I also, why they sent a red bag instead of yellow is beyond me (yellow hi-viz helmet)? I highly recommend this helmet.
