Solder-It Refillable Fuel Cell Pair Micro-Jet Torches (CF-30C)

These were a godsend to me. One of my pet peeves is that I spend a lot of time in the Cigar area of cruise ship decks. It is always windy and virtually impossible to light a cigar with anything other than a torch. But the airlines do not allow torches in any kind of luggage. They do allow flame lighters though. It is often nearly impossible to find an inexpensive torch in other countries. I found one of the torches these "refills" fit a couple years back. I took it with me to Europe. No problems. Just leave the refill out of the lighter until you arrive. It worked a charm, but by the end of our trip I was worried about running out of fuel. The torch fits the inexpensive "gas station" flame lighters - BUT NOT the standard, rounded "Bic" type. It is the rectangle shape and I have found them hard to find. Now with these two refills and the one that came with the torch, I am good to go! Price was right. Came when promised. I filled them and tried them both and they work great!

1 of the 2 fuel cells leaked out all the butane immediately after filling it. I gave it 1 star because I could not give 0 stars, I'm not happy with mg purchase!!

So the only negative remark I can make about this is the shipping was delayed. But I was happy to receive my product and find that it was the exact part I needed for my heat gun and the packaging was nice bright and very easy to read and understand. Very happy with this purchase that I was anxiously awaiting. You can’t go wrong with this product if it’s something that you need you will be happy with this item’s superior quality.

I have an old Radio Shack butane heater for heat shrink tubing. Tried filling it only to discover that the butane fuel cell had a crack in it. I was happy (and surprised) to discover that the same model is still available. Got this and it works just fine.

It did not fit my older unit, which had no model number. So I ended up spending $$ on a new unit.

There aren't many replacement fuel cells around the net to buy for mini/micro torches, so I gave these a chance despite owning two torches each made by a different manufacturer than these fuel cells and with these cells looking different than the cheap broken fuel cells that came with my torches. Im pleased to report these fit great and work better than the original ones. The originals would take a while for the flame to go out after releasing the trigger. With these cells, the flame is extinguished immediately. Very satisfied and will buy again as needed.

I was able to put my solder it (2) in use again. Too hard to find correct lighters.

Cells were loose in shipping bag as plastic cover on packaging had no visible adhesive on it (hence really old stock comment). One cell worked but was leaking from the fill valve and the other was not leaking but would not work. Not worth the time and hassle of returning.

These work with the Iroda name brand torches as well. Was having a hard time finding a replacement for them. These are perfect.
