Great string if you're not a string breaker. price, spin, comfort, controlled power. my favorite for the last year plus.
still some of my favorite strings. I was bouncing around between a lot of different full poly setups and hybrid setups.Cyclone 19g @ between 54-56lbs is awesome but it depends on the racquet and what you prefer as well. These settle in well, at some point if you're not a string breaker if you go to long on these you can still shred and pop them but they can go awhile. Great access to spin medium power to lowish but not too low. I use these in my Yonex xi 98 (ezone), DR98, DR100 plus, Pure Strike, RF97 and they are playing well. I think the price, spin and comfort are what keeps me from continuing to search for another string and there are lots of awesome strings out there.

19g - Very good bite/spin, good power but lacks a bit of feel.
Tried the 19g strings as a potential replacement for the Volkl Cyclone Tour 18g, since the Tour tends to lose playability after 6-8 hours.Played an Open league doubles match on an outdoor court, where conditions were a bit "lighter", where the ball tends to feel like it flies a bit more, with a fresh restring off the bat as to push myself. On serve and off ground strokes, the spin potential is very good. Bites well when using full or wristy/flick swings. The power is decent and controllable. Holds tension well. Normally I'd need to string the Tour 18g and hit for about 30minutes to get it to where I like it. This string, strung at the same tension as the Tour 18g (50/47lbs), maintained it quite well. There was no need to string up tension to help with control. My only complaint is pocketing and feel are dampened, even for 19g 1.1mm thick poly. I'm an all court player so on softer, finesse shots like volleys, the feel was muted, so the adjustment to control the ball better took a bit longer and it never felt like I good feel. The Cyclone Tour is a bit better for that.I can't judge on longevity yet since I've only played about 4 hours of doubles on the 19g strings.5.5-6.0 ex Div 1 player. Playsight evaluated. Avg spin 1400rpm forehand, 1200 backhand. Speed avg 77mph forehand, 69 mph backhand.plays with RF97A.*** After 8 hours of hitting, the strings started to harden up and became plank like. I could still play with power but the shock is a bit jarring and at the end of 3 sets of doubles, my Subscapularis was a bit achey. Bite was decent though. The Cyclone Tour 18g loses playability by playing loose but retains a bit more softness.

excellent purchase
Great string. My racquet is a 18x20 string pattern, the 19G string works really well in the dense pattern. I was initially concerned about the thin string, but it has held up very well through 5 games.

Not better than 17g version ... breaks easily
I'm a 4.5/5.0 player with classic strokes - these broke after 2 sets. I did not find them more powerful or with better feel than the 17g that I have been using for a couple of years. You are better off with the 17g of this string - which I really like. On the positive side, being so thin it was easy to string.

Volkl Cyclone 19 Rocks
Normally play with 17 ga cyclone . Was gonna try 18 ga but never got around to it , when I seen that Volkl was making 19 ga , I just had to try . Spin out of this world , softer and pockets better than 17 by far . Love this string . I'm in my second set , first set lasted about 15 hours and broke . Will continue to use 19 ga , performance and comfort are far superior to 16 or 17

It broke too fast. I am talking about breaking ...
It broke too fast. I am talking about breaking a string in 5th hour of play. It is only the second time in my life that I am breaking strings. I would give a thicker gauge a try instead of this.
