Q: I forgot my passcode. How do you unlock it?

Okay so I had a similar issue. 1.If at any point you remember your original code put that into your lock 2.For me the middle number had changed from 1-3 for some reason and then again from 3-4 as I had re-locked the one side to figure out. once I finally figured out the unlock code. I reset it to the correct combination again. (I'm assuming one of my co-workers were trying to get into my bag and in doing so some how changed my code) 3. have it written down in my wallet so I don't forget but I'm still weary of the lock mechanism

I have the heather grey and the floral backpack. The zipper on both is gold.

Q: Does the back pack always have to be locked?

No it doesn’t I actually didn’t even lock mine since I bought it, I would say lock it if you travel and have valuables in there.
