Great book
This is a great book, I really enjoyed it. Managed to read half of it in one go, but had to take a break as it is a very emotional book. It is sad, but the relationship between Poppy and Ash is great to see grow, and is really cute.

Have tissues at the ready!
*TW*Death, impact of death, grief and lossThis book may not be suited to those sensitive on the topic of death. Although a light book, it can be heavy for some. Please keep this in mind before reading.Absolutely beautiful! I cried, I smiled and my heart broke. Not even death can break love.Tanya Byrne...what can I say? This is the first book I read by you and it's definitely high on my favourites. The characters, the story, all of it, touched me so deeply. My emotions were really played with and I'm not mad about it.But that ending...aw man my heart couldn't take it. It was bittersweet. That's the only word that comes to mind...bittersweet.I loved the diversity, the love, the realness of this book. I loved everything. I also loved how easily Ash was accepted into a new 'community'. The relationship between Ash and Poppy is freaking adorable. I adore them both so so much, they really did damage a few of my heart strings. All in all, this book was wonderful, truly wonderful. It seems ou can find love anywhere and you can be happy in life. You'll find what you need when the time is right...until then just be you.Highly recommend, wish I could rate higher!

Wish this book was around when I was younger!
I wasnt expecting this book to feel this deep but it was. A mix of sweet and sad, and it felt very honest and authentic.Really great book for teens but I enjoyed it too. More like this please!

Best book of 2021
I couldn’t put this book down from the second I started it. I absolutely love that the first half of the book is dedicated to the girls meeting and falling in love. It was one of the sweetest most beautiful love stories that I’ve read in a long time. I love the setting, I love the characters, I love the writing. I love that the book subtly deals with homophobia but doesn’t dwell on it or make it a part of the story. The esoteric aspect of the book is brilliant. I truly think that this book has a lot to offer, and is definitely worth a read. So far is my fave book of 2021.

A book of two halves and I only enjoyed one
The first part of the story is about the girls meeting and falling for each other. Whilst a bit light on details I did enjoy this (I would have liked to see much more about their backgrounds) but the second half of the book was disappointing to me. The reaper events were lacklustre and to be quite frank, boring and Ash made me want to hurl my book with her selfishness.

A lovely read
I really enjoyed this one. When I first started to read I wasn't sure where it was going and thought it was going to be endlessly sad but I loved how it ended.Good characters and writing and a lovely read with a cuppa and a blanket.Don't be put off by the 'young adult' thing. I think most people could get something from this story. I certainly did.
