I’ve read many books by this author and have loved most all of them( if not all of them) and that is why it’s hard for me to only give this one three stars but I feel that’s fair. The story itself was ok but the characters.....didn’t care for any of them and that is where the problem lied for me...I think. It’s hard to get into a story if you don’t like or care about the characters. The ending was the best part and again...not my favorite. Overall it’s a good story and pry worth a read...who knows, you may like the characters.

A magical story filled with suspense, a bit of mystery, intriguing characters and a good plot.I have not read the other books in this series and I was not lost as far as the story goes.Elizabeth writes with such a flair that just grabs you right away and keeps your attention to the end.It was a fun story to read.

This wasn’t the story I thought it was going to be. I got through about a third of the way when I had to give it up. Just not my kind of story. It didn’t hold my attention. Sorry...

I'm never disappointed with a book by Elizabeth Rose. They are always enjoyable, interesting, fascinated and a fun read. I keep wanting to read more when they end, wanting them to go on and on. I'm looking forward to the next book. Love everyone of the families and glad she's extending them another generation.

Very well written. Great comic relief. Thought I had it figured out half way through, but was really surprised how it unfolded. A very surprising end to the story. If you've read the entire series you'll definitely be well pleased with this book.

Elizabeth captured my attention from page 1.In these troubled times it was great to have a book that you just couldn't lay down. I was completely captivated.I loved the idea of an author laying in a hammock in a secret garden writing.Well done. Kay
