Husqvarna 545154009 Piston Ring

The piston ring gets gummed up on these blowers..once it warms up And hot it just falls on its face and stalls out Could keep it running by flipping it to half choke use it that way for over a year but it doesn't get the full RPM Looked it up on YouTube took the whole engine assembly apart cleaned the carburetor with carb spray broke the piston ring taking it off to clean it & the piston, so tread lightly when removing.. But lucky with a cheap fix from this seller and the piston ring fit perfectly runs like a top now

Popped the new piston ring in and it seated perfectly. Old ring was broken and fused on one side but the new one fixed it up just fine. Leaf blower runs like a champ.

Fits Poulan Pro blower BVM200FE. Original piston ring failed and is a main reason why so many reviews are negative for this Poulan blower. My blower would not start after 2 yrs of use. I checked compression and literally had zero. Immediately suspected the piston ring. I disassembled the engine and found the ring to be carbon welded into the piston ring track. Took out the junk ring, cleaned out the piston ring track and put this new Husqvarna ring in. Reassembled engine. Machine started on second pull. Has about 2 hrs of use now with no problems.

Is so important that you have your mm inch on your old piston ring because are Veri important because look identical but it's not the same at the time to install ,this one not fit on huskvarna 50 cc blower

Use the piston rings for a leaf blower

I used this piston ring on a poulan pro hand held gas powered leaf blower. Worked like a charm and went on super easy! Found the burned out blower on the side of the rd and fixed it right up with this after not getting any compression!

I picked up this Craftsman 25cc Leaf Blower that would not start for free. I replace fuel lines, fuel filter, spark plug, carburetor & cleaned the air filter and it still would not start. It seemed to have good compression, but I thought what the heck, replace the piston ring just in case. Well that did the trick. It started right up after 3 pulls and runs like a champ. I only spent $28.00 on the carburetor and the piston ring and the other parts I replaced I already had laying around from other jobs. Apparently the piston ring is a common problem with this particular 25cc, 2 cycle motor.

They seemed like good quality but did not fit my craftsman 25cc string trimmer 316.711020

Worked perfectly. Compression returned and now my leaf blower starts and blows snow again
