I've been trying to find a proper work shoe for years now. Finally gave into Dansko. I absolutely love the shoe. For someone with very flat feet that has to stand all day (literally 12-14 hours) I've never been able to find something that allowed my feet to not feel like death at the end of the day. Arch support is tricky for me since I do have such flat feet but I don't have any problem with these. The only problem I DID have was that the first pair I ordered were way, way, way too small. I could barely get my feet in them and my toes were smashed. I ordered a size up and they're still a little tight around the arch but much better. I think these shoes are just the type that need A LOT of break in time. I ordered a foot stretcher and actually tried stretching them (for my new pair) to break them in faster and it seemed to have helped a lot. It's kind of weird... Support is amazing for some odd reason but the arch is just TIGHT. Heel feels amazing and I never even got a blister, the arch is just super tight on my left foot. The leather is also rock hard so I figured it's just the way they're made/the leather. I definitely recommend the shoe because now that I've broken them in I find all the pain is gone (for the most part) and I can actually comfortably stand ALL day (with barely a break) between 2 jobs. No more having to sit down or collapse between shifts! It's amazing. I've been in restaurants for 7 years and I've never been able to find a shoe like this. I have no idea how or why it works but it does! I can't wait until they're really, really broken in and beyond perfect.

I work as a waitress where I am on my feet all day, and I have very high arches and have been trying to find a good pair of shoes. Customers have been recommending these, so I thought that I would give it a shot finally after reading a ton of reviews. I have been trying to break them in for 4 months now, and I am finally giving up. I am a 9 1/2 and ordered a 40 originally. The shoes were killing the top of my feet so bad that I exchanged them for a 41. It fit better but was still tight on one foot. After reading reviews, I decided to allow for the leather to break in and endure the pain. I think I am finally giving in and going back to buying Dr Scholls or New Balance which have worked fine for a few months. I will say that overall after a long shift, my legs and back have felt great with these and I no longer wince getting up in the morning. However, the pain that I have felt on the top of my feet has made this almost not worth it anymore. I am still searching for the perfect shoes if anyone has any recommendations! But I will not be trying these anymore. They have given me a scar/redness at the top and seems like they altered my bones.

Here's how these are supposed to fit.Toe box: your big toe is not supposed to touch the toe box.Arch: the top of your foot should be snug, but not pinched. You should be able to wiggle your entire foot without the top of the foot moving much.Heel: the shoe should move entirely off of the heel when in motion.If you have never worn Danskos, go get sized!!These are true to size. I'm a 9/9.5 and mine fit perfectly.

This clog is pure Dansko. The leather treatment is better than expected. What I love about this brand is that it is consistent and it's always what you hope and expect from a crafted product. Well done, Dansko for always being you.

Durable

These shoes are supposed to be wide width but are to narrow for me to wear all day. I bought these with the thought of all day wear. I'm going to keep looking. I like the style but it needs to be wider.

Fairly snuff fit over top of my foot (I have a high instep). They are comfy however, fairly unforgiving in terms of give in the sole.

I love this style of Dansko shoe. Many of my colleagues wear them as well. These shoes give excellent support. I used to sprain my ankles all the time, but not since I started wearing these shoes. For first time wearers the hard footbed may take some time to get used to it, but once you do, you'll be hooked like me. I wear them all the time - work, shopping, walking, everywhere. They last a long time, my last pair lasted 5 years of continuous use. The soles finally broke at the ball of the feet area.I also have a pair of dressier maryjane Dansko shoes and they are just as comfortable.
