Great
I have set of these and this is a replacement for my 0.5 that I lost. These are a great day to day mechanical pencil that hides the pencil tip with a twist of the barrel that locks on place

Good value, good balance, a little tricky to use for first time.
First let me say this. This is not the pencil that i thought i ordered. Pencil that i thought i ordered was a Pentel GraphGear. Turns out i was wrong. My fault not Amazons. Now on to the pencil. Little tricky to use the first time. To get the lead out (yes i know a whole lot of jokes start with that line) you hold the bottom section with the knurled end and give the top a little twist. This unlocks the lead extractor and from this point on is mostly like a regular pencil. The balance is nice and the pencil behaves. There is (at least seems to me) nothing really on the top end to pull the pencil off your line. Balance is good and the grip is good. The grip is knurled all the way around and it provides good grip but not sticky grip ( if that makes sense). When you are done writing push the lead extractor and then push the lead back in, give the top of the pencil a little twist while you hold the bottom and it locks the lead and extractor in place keeping the lead out of the way. In conclusion the pencil will take a few minutes of use to get used to but i find that once you are used to it - it will provide a nice writing experience for the user.

BUENO, CASI PERFECTO... CASI.

Good for the money; Not perfect but attractive and it works as promised.
For twelve bucks, there is really nothing to complain about. This is a fine mechanical pencil which performs as promised. It's not a *perfect* pencil, however. I felt a little disappointed to discover that the upper body is silvered plastic rather than metal, -and feels like it. The pencil's two main "pipe" segments are also loose and rattle a bit when in the unlocked, retracted position. The whole thing feels a bit cheaper than it looks. -Which, given the fact that it *is*, shouldn't come as a huge surprise. If you want a $75 mechanical pencil, you're going to have to spend $75.The grip end IS metal, however, and it has a nice weight to it. The knurled metal feels better than I'd hoped. -Personally, I don't like the popular knurled design. I find it hard on my skin after many hours of daily use, leaving me with more developed callouses than I might otherwise grow. I don't know why the knurled metal design ever became popular; the finger-to-pencil contact area is one place where a smooth material such as plastic would be welcome. I particularly appreciate the modern rubberized grips on cheapie pens and pencils. -But the knurling on this model is lighter and less abrasive than other pencil designs offer, so it could be worse. One other thing which I found, (and I don't really know how you'd change)... When you're finished drawing and go to retract the metal tip, any graphite extended will *stay* extended beyond the protective area of the pencil. You have to manually hold down the button and push that back in before retracting the tip sheath. -It's not a big problem, and having to manually push the graphite inside is the same for every mechanical pencil on the market, but with a retracting sheath pencil like this one, you tend to notice it more. All it takes is a little bit of re-training to remember so that you don't break the lead believing you've put it away when really you have not.All in all, despite these minor observations, this is a neat-o pencil, better than your average disposable, and I'm quite content to have it in my tool kit.Recommended.Pros:- Attractive design- Retracting tip- Good weight- Feels good to draw with.Cons:-Upper body is silvered plastic, not metal.-When retracting nib, the graphite still sticks out. You have to manually push it back in.-The structure rattles when retracted and not locked in place.

Recomendable
Excelente lapicero, tiene un muy buen agarre debido a que es de metal en esa área y está moleteado, lo de que se retraiga/oculte la punta del lapicero, es muy útil a la hora de alguna caída accidental y no se vea deteriorado su funcionamiento.
