keep one at home and the rest at our greenhouse or vehicles
This four pack of box cutting utility knives has been a great set to use at our home and greenhouse. The box included two blade carriers that hold 10 dual sided razor sharp blades each. The lids to these container require some effort to push in the tab on one side with the letters PUSH and pull the lid or bottom to open. The lid also has a pin hole to hang these on a brad nail but will not fit on a peg board hook. The four knifes that I received were black, bright green, yellow, and red. The tail of the knife has a large triangle shaped hole to hang on a pegboard or insert a short strand of paracord to both hang or put on our wrist to avoid dropping into the dirt.A belt clip is attached on the one side that is securely fastened to the knife housing with a T10 head round bolt. The knifes open up with no release but do require the pushing on the blade lock which is similar to my childhood locking blades. To swap out blades just press down at the top of the blade holder and pull the blade out and then insert with the dull side going into the blade holder. A small notch is also available which is great at cutting ropes or slicing open those white plastic banding straps without having to cut or damage our planting flats or pots.

Comes apart easily
I was excited for these at first, but after just a short bit of regular usage, the design choices have become... questionable.1) the location & function of the blade release is just ridiculous. You can't put your finger on the back of the blade to steady it, like one might do if cutting down cardboard, as you'll just quick-release the blade.2) The fact that what holds the whole thing together is a bolt that will loosen every time you open it - and then fall off and render the item useless - is just mind-bogglingly bad design. I've had to retighten these things every 3 days with LIGHT use. Of course, this just makes it even more difficult to use, as tightening the bolt that holds it together also increases the resistance when opening the blades.I would absolutely not recommend these, and I've thrown one away, thinking it was a fluke, so I can't even return them.

So easy to use and they are heavy duty and sharp!
I really needed some to new blades for all my boxes I cut up and open for my small business. I open items and ship items constant so I’m always in need of blades to cut up cardboard. These were cutting even through the toughest cardboard like it was paper effortlessly. I loves using these. So sharp and comfortable to hold! For a pack of four it was a great price. They come with 20 extra blades and the blades are the simplest I’ve ever used to change out. Usually it such a complicated process that I just buy new but not with these . They fold down nicely for safety.I would buy these again !

A good deal on a cheap knife.
If you are looking for a drywall knife, look elsewhere, this will probably break; but for most uses it's fine. It's great for slicing up cardboard boxes and other lighter tasks. The wire stripping notch is pretty useless, but that's true for any utility knife. It can be opened one handed, and it locks up tight. The black metal surrounding the blade and the silver metal for the locking mechanism appear to be cast zinc, not stainless steel like you get on more expensive knives. It's very lightweight for carrying, but the pocket clip is weak - it doesn't deform, but it doesn't grip tightly. It's quick and easy to change blades. It's nicer than the cheap Hyper knives from Walmart - which cost a couple dollars more, but nowhere near as nice as the $6 Gordon knives from Harbor Freight or a 3 pack of Huskys from Home Depot ($7 each).

Great utility knife for the price
These knives are smaller and more lightweight than other utility knives I own. They are sturdy and lock into position for safety. I also like the plastic protector on the blade. I almost threw it away, but I'm glad I kept it. I think it's added safety keeping it on the blade. I haven't used it much so far, but it also has an easy to use blade release. No tools required. I am very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend.
