A true joyful jar of moonlight!
This book truly is a joyful jar of moonlight. The poems give me the same feeling as to when I wake up in the middle of a full moon night and see the moonlight pouring in through the bedroom window. To me, it’s a magical joyful feeling and that’s exactly how I feel every time I read Nazanins’ poems. Just as the moonlight lights up a dark night, these whimsical poems light up every corner of your soul. Words cannot describe how delicate yet strong these poems are written; you must read the book to feel this joyful jar of moonlight penetrating your soul.

Beautiful
I've had A Jarful Of Moonlight on my TBR list since I saw In Tori Lex's review of the book way back in August 2017 and now I am absolutely kicking myself for having procrastinated so long before getting around to reading it. I adored this poetry collection! Mirsadeghi composes her poetry in mostly brief stanzas such as the two quoted in the synopsis above. Each snapshot has amazing clarity, a vivid insight into the poet's mind at that moment. I loved feeling her mood changes from the ache of intense romance to the poignant sadness of exile. I am now sorely tempted to buy myself a print copy of A Jarful Of Moonlight as well because I think it deserves to be a tangible item, frequently thumbed and quoted from, and perhaps even gifted to a lover.
