BodyGuardz AlumiTech Pure 2 Glass Screen Protector Clear for iPhone 6 / 6S

i had their BodyGuardz anti-glare protector for the iPhone SE and that was a really good experience. When I got the iPhone 7 i couldn't find an anti-glare option for their tempered glass protectors (which is a big bummer since I really preferred the almost-matte texture of the anti-glare surface over the glass surface) so I decided to try out this new Pure2 screen protector.It's okay. not a fan of the glare at all especially coming from no glare on my previous phone.Also the glass had dust particles all over the surface (even underneath the protective peel-off plastic) which required me to liberally use the dust-removal sticker a lot. It's hard to get all the dust off without more dust landing on the glass but i was able to get most of it off save for one particle that just won't let go.It comes with a clear plastic alignment tray that was MAGIC with the iPhone SE anti-glare glass but with this one #1) it did not align the glass evenly with the phone but instead aligned it almost an 1/8" to the left so the edge of the home button cut-out was right on the edge of the button itself and #2) the adhesive that is supposed to hold the glass in the tray as you then flip the tray over onto your phone did not stick well to the glass, requiring me to compress the glass to the adhesive and adding more dust in the process.Finally, after the glass was finally placed on the phone, I noticed a bunch of dust particles I missed so I had to peel back the glass a bunch of times (according to their instructions) to try to get the dust. It's a little tricky peeling the glass off the phone once it is settled without slightly dimpling the edges of the glass. This is what happened to mine so now there's a permanent visual bubble on the edges.I don't think I'd recommend this due to the defects in their alignment tray, dust all over the screen, and the difficulty installing. Basically this did not justify the extra cost over other brands.

This is my third or fourth one of these. 2 times I've had these protectors save my iPhone's screens. All I have to say is that these are worth every penny and a whole lot more considering how expensive it is to replace your phone's screen. I can't recommend this brand and this product more, you're taking a huge risk if you don't protect your phone with one. I won't take my new phones out of the store without one on. The first time my phone fell onto the concrete from about 6 feet up and I thought it was done but my pelican phone case protected the phone and the screen protector shattered but left the screen completely intact. The second time I was lifting a tiller into my truck and one of the blades hit my phone in my pocket and busted up the screen protector instead of my phone (and my phone protected my leg from the blade, go figure). You just never know when something stupid is going to happen, so do yourself a favor and be safe instead of sorry.

I have always used these since I worked at a phone retail store 4 years ago. They now come with an alignment tray that really helps, especially if you are anal about getting it on there straight like I am. Just take a lot of time making sure there is no dust before you put it on, as it is easier than trying to use the dust removal stickers, but they can be a lifesaver if there is one or two specks under the glass. Just lift up the corner gently and stick the sticker under there to grab the dust, and then lay it back down. Goes great with otterbox commuter for superb overall phone protection.

Protected my screen after my phone fell from a 2nd-floor balcony. The protector had a nick on the side and the company gave me a free replacement as advertised.

I ordered this for my grandmother (I have the same brand but for a Galaxy Note 5) because this is the only screen protector brand I recommend, it has protected my grandmothers phone without fail. The company is super great about replacing the screen protectors when broken they only charge shipping and with my phone I have broken around 4 screen protectors and BodyGuardz has replaced them each time for no cost.

Cracks easily, but it protects the phone well I guess. Return policy to BG is pretty frustrating since shipping is nearly the cost of a new item, but I'm not really that surprised about it

I liked the fact that I haven’t had to replace the screen.

I previously worked for a corporate cell phone company and have always loved the BodyGuardz. When I changed cell phone carriers my new provider didn’t have BodyGuardz for sale. Long story short the other “competition” cracked and has a ton of moisture under the screen. I will always stay a BodyGuardz fan - just remember to register it for lifetime replacement!
