Good Thick Yoga Mat
I purchased this specifically for the thickness and it is a quality product. Good stability and traction, perfect for ab exercises. As a yoga mat, you may prefer a traditional thinner option but I feel this is still adequate for most people. Color is good, simple to clean. It will leave marks easily however. Good mat, durable, easy to transport or store

Durable and Comfortable Yoga Mat That Lasts
The BalanceFrom Go Yoga All Purpose Exercise Mat has proven to be a long-lasting and reliable piece of equipment. After seven years of use, it still holds up well, showing how durable the anti-tear material really is. The thickness provides great cushioning for yoga, stretching, or floor workouts, making it comfortable to use on hard surfaces without slipping. The included carrying strap makes it easy to transport to classes or the gym, and the lightweight design is convenient without sacrificing support. Even after years of use, the mat remains easy to clean and hasnโt worn down the way cheaper mats often do. While the surface may show some signs of age, the overall performance has stayed strong, which makes it an excellent value for the price. Pros: Extremely durable even after years, comfortable cushioning, and convenient with a carry strap included. Cons: The surface can show wear over time, it may feel bulky compared to thinner mats, and the texture may not suit those who prefer a firmer grip. A dependable yoga mat that lasts for years while staying comfortable and practical. For anyone looking for a durable, affordable mat, this one delivers excellent long-term value.

From a Non-Yoga enthusiast
The first time I bought a Yoga mat, I plucked it out of the bin from either Ross or TJ Maxx. Then, I decided it wasn't for me and I sold the mat. So, I wouldn't know how to pick a good mat if I fell over it. I came here and purchased this one from the reviews. Again, I'm not a die-hard Yoga-er? Yogi? So I'm probably not giving it the "workout" it needs, but here's a few things I noticed. When I unrolled it, it was nice and tight from it's position. I had to lay it out, then lay on it to get it flat and ready to use. My dog was amused by this, but I'm not sure it counts as a position. It does dent. I've seen where others tear, but so far, mine hasn't yet. But dents? Yes. I can see this as more of a "when" rather than "if." The foam is soft-- it's bound to happen at some point. No noise noted. No squeaking or shifting, or "fart" noises. You can go about your routine in peace. I did notice a smell on my hands after. At first, I wasn't sure what it was, but it was latex-esque or plastic like. I didn't notice this during, but I did smell it after. To me, it's squishy and comfortable. Like I said , I briefly used it as a make-shift cot prior to it's official use, and I thought it was fine. Didn't move, and for what it is, I thought it was pretty thick. I Love the strap, I love the color, it'll do for now. Until it falls apart, I'm happy with it.

Great Mat
Very good yoga mat. I am not yoga expert but this works great for me. It is very soft and helps my wrists and knees not hurt. Beautiful color and the strap to roll it up is great.

Itโs made and looks like the company presents it!
This is the only exercise mat that is thick and comfortable to use!!! Thank You for making your items with no odor, great grip, and beautiful appearance.

Thick & sturdy.
Great mat! Nice thick, sturdy foam! -- Im using it along my raised garden beds so I can crawl across the area that's covered w wood chips to work. I cover up lumber edges w old staples with one edge too, and can push myself up & slide it along beneath me. Great on my knees and elbows. Eliminates the need to constantly get up & down. Nice thick, sturdy foam! Gets slippery fast if I hit it w the hose!

Not 100% sold, but willing to keep using it for the cushioning benefits on my knees and hands.
For full disclosure, I'm very out of shape, female, 210lbs, 5"5, 27 years old, and am starting yoga again after years of inactivity. I used to be VERY active in high school, so I have some of my old flexibility and strength, but not much else. I am clearly not a yoga expert and no mat will make exercise, on any level, easy for me. That being said, I think I need more time with this mat to really decide whether I like it or not. I'm not going to return it either way because my cats have already jumped on it to play with one another and made a few clear puncture marks (little jerks!), so I wouldn't feel right about returning something my animals damaged. But here's my review thus far after 3 days of use doing some light to moderate yoga and other stretching for thirty minutes an evening: PROS: - The thickness REALLY helps with my hands, knees and butt. I'm no spring chicken, so I need all the cushioning I can get! It's almost like memory foam, comfort-wise, and I remember severe wrist and knee pain on previous mats in years gone by. This reduces that pain considerably, so I can keep up the exercise longer than I might have otherwise. - It rolls up and unrolls nicely, and the carrying strap is a nice touch for portability and storage. It turns up a bit at the ends, but it doesn't interfere with my workouts. - It definitely seems durable; despite all the pressure and pulling from my yoga stances, which makes me feel like it WOULD start tearing, but it doesn't tear. Yes, there are some nice new tiny holes in it from kitty claws, but it isn't flaking off or anything and it isn't interfering with any activity on the mat. Another mat might flake down to nothing from one encounter with a cat. CONS: - Because it's so thick and pliable, I struggle with my balance more on it than I do on my wood-laminate floor. For one-legged standing moves, I get off my mat for fear of falling over and hurting myself. I also got off the mat for warrior 1 and 2. Devil's advocate: me and balance haven't known each other for a long time, so I can't wholly blame any balance issues on the mat. But it is telling that I can do it better on the floor than a mat I purchased specifically for yoga. - The mat seems to stay put relatively well for most moves, but I can feel the mat shift and stretch sometimes and it's a little disconcerting. As I said, I have a wood-laminate floor, so I was hoping this squishy, plastic-ish mat would naturally stick to a laminate floor. It seems to stay put if I have most of my weight on it in one spot during basic moves, but when I adjust my weight to two or more spots (e.g. vinyasas involving downward facing dog and planks, warrior poses), the mat stretches and shifts. I have to take a few extra moments to keep readjusting to compensate for the fact that the mat stretched or moved and steady myself. It might just be that the mat needs "breaking in", or perhaps this kind of mat that is good on the knees and hands came at the price of not being able to do some of the more complex moves fluidly. - Plastic-y mat on a wood laminate floor = squeaky fart noises. I do my yoga at home, alone, but I wouldn't bring this mat with me to practice in a group for this reason. I'll keep using the mat and update my review in a few weeks.

This is a brilliant mat. Thick enough to stop any pain on the back when lying down, but stable enough to stand on and do exercises such as burpees and push ups and balancing exercises. It's just pretty big if you want to transport it anywhere but that is what you get for added comfort! The carry strap is really handy too!

The Mat to Match Your Yoga Maven's Dreams
Knowing nothing about a gift I buy is not my way. So I researched yoga mats endlessly online before discovering Balance. Material seems tops for support, comfort, and durability, and the purple met the recipient's desire. Thick, made of non-toxic synthetics, and supplied with tying and carrying bands, the mat filled my bill and her notion of a yoga mat. With a warranty of unusual length per buck spent, this is grand stuff. Select the set of 5 exercise bands, and you get a good carry bag for them, plus a useful download of strengthening and agility-increasing tools. It seemed a Best Buy, so far as I could determine and is one so far as my Other Half reports. When it heads to Yoga Heaven one day, its clone will be ordered from Amazon Prime. We ain't chicken livers, you know.
