Very effective for chronic pain, works a lot better than sprays and other alternatives available. It takes a few minutes to warm up and stays on for another 20-30ish minutes. There's a marked difference after the heat wears off. If you have sensitive skin, start with a very light layer to see how much of the heat you can handle.
