The media could not be loaded. I got it for cheap and I love the MacBook already. I was supposed to get it for Christmas but I opened it up early. Sorry, Mom😠MacBook is amazing. It works really well. Just a minor scratches and a little bit of paint or crayon on it but I can probably get it off or cover it with stickers but I really like it and it actually works and I got it for cheap cheap price. It was like $200 and the other websites and over. when I first got it, it felt like unhappy and I realize how small it was but I didn’t want to give it away because it was actually a MacBook and I’ve been wanting a MacBook since last year and I got four cheap price.

4 GB is just not enough internal memory
I once had this laptop with 8 GB internal memory and it was fast. I let my niece take that laptop for college. I have my iMac and other i-devices but decided to get a refurb MacBook Air just to have around. Well, while the refurb MacBook Air was in perfect condition and cheap, I realize there is a major speed difference between the 4GB vs the 8GB. The 4GB is slow and lags when starting up apps. But I'll probably keep this refurbed MacBook Air regardless of it having only 4GB only because it was cheap for a great condition laptop. Just consider the limitations of having 4GB. They should not be allowed to make any laptop with less than 8GB. PS. This refurb comes in a brown box with power supply, packing, and that's about it. Mine updated to the current Mac OS but it took several hours.

I was terrified based on the reviews
I've wanted a macbook for the past 3 years. So when I found this one, I was excited! But, I was honestly terrified based on the reviews. Good to bad review ratio was like 2:10. With that said, i'll talk about my experience so far. I selected next day shipping, but being that I ordered on a Friday, I received it today. I was supposed to get it around 3PM, but it arrived at 12:16PM. My grandma was there to sign for it. When I got home from school, I immediately opened the box. It came in a brown box. I saw the charger first. It is a certified apple charger. I then saw the macbook and it was securely wrapped and in the bottom of the box. I got it out of the plastic and noticed a single scratch. ONE. UNO. I opened it up and no keys were missing, nor was there any dirt or scratches on the screen. This laptop was SO CLEAN! I started it up and panicked because it was taking a bit, but then I realized it was dead. I plugged it in and it turned on right away. I waited for the apple logo to disappear and VOILA! It was like a brand-new computer. I set up everything from the start. It stays charged, Im currently updating it, and I am so pleased.Yes, this was a hit or miss, but I would definitely say worth it. If it's crappy, then there's a 90 day return policy, and refund.I also already bought a case, a mouse and keyboard cover!

Just an expensive hunk of metal.
I'm completely unsatisfied with this product because shortly after the 30 days within which I could return it, it broke down completely. It is unresponsive. We believe the graphics function is defective. One day the screen would simply not light up. When I contact the seller for support, they "Call back", but no one is there - I'm on hold with no information about when or what will happen. I won't sit on my phone without any indication that a human being is on the other end. NOT my idea of customer service, and I"m left with a worthless hunk of metal - supposedly certified refurbished and "like new". Most new things last more than five weeks, unless they are broccoli.

I’ve purchased 2 — not 100% happy with either
First purchase: The charger didn’t charge the device. The laptop became extremely hot within 10 minutes and the case definitely had scratches. The screen was covered in dust. Super disappointed. Seller sent replacement charger, but asked I attempt another charger first. I had to go buy a new charger for a replacement to be sent. It defeated the purpose.Second purchase was for my son for Christmas. Received the laptop, opened it. Literal keys were missing from the keyboard. Super disappointing all the way around. Its being returned.

Obviously used, but perfect operation....I'm happy with my purchase
Laptop came with "minor" defects. There are obvious signs of wear (scratches, dings) surrounding all of the ports. Additionally, there are small ( I mean SMALL) dents/dings on all of the corners of the case and 1 tiny scratch on the screen ( Almost looks as though there is a small piece of lint on the screen). The screen scratch is noticeable, but not distracting. For the massive savings over a new computer, all of the above are easily overlooked. Additionally, I figured there would be signs of wear, so I purchased a hard plastic snap on cover and a keyboard cover as well. Between the two they cover most of the "damage" and I easily forget this is a used product. I would have given this product 5 stars if it did not come with a scratch on the screen. My true rating is 4.5 stars. Many of the reviews are bad to decent, and without knowing if the purchasers are being overly critical, it is hard to know just how "bad" some of the computers are. I read A LOT of them and decent I'd take the gamble and I feel I won. The computer I received was factory restored and came with the out of the box programs. The OS was Sierra and I have already updated to High Sierra without issue. I have made many changes to the configuration and added several programs as well and have not experienced any flaws. This computer seems to be brand new, with the exceptions of the wear and tear of a 4-ish year old computer. I honestly cannot say if everyone in the market for a refurbished computer should purchase due to the mixed reviews. Again, I got (in my opinion) a good buy and hope these results are typical. I'm happy...
