Great ideas to simplify the couponing process and save you time and money!! -from a non-believer!
What a great book! This book is such a great resource to have to start or improve your couponing skills. I was originally a huge opponent to couponing because I thought it was such a waste of time and effort for the measly few dollars you would save, not to mention the aggravation and hassle of doing it. I was so wrong! After watching the shows on tv, I wanted to set myself a goal of saving 200$ on things that my family of 3 would normally buy every month. It is myself, my husband, and our 2 year old -who is still in diapers and we all know those are not cheap! I bought this book (which is a quick read) and just started slowly. After 1 month I felt pretty confident and had built up my coupon base so that I could get a lot of the deals that I was reading about. At the beginning of the new year I started to keep my receipts for everything that I was buying so I could physically see how much this was going to save me and if it was worth my time. Here is my totals: In Jan I purchased $1,910.62 worth of retail products. I only spent $519.30 saving my family $1,391.32! That is a 72.8% savings on every item that I bought this month. $300 of that was items that were donated and cost me nothing (and a lot of times even paid me!) to pick up at the store with my other items. I loved being able to pass on the blessings which is something Joni encourages you to do in this book. My family is fortunate right now that we were able to spend a little bit extra to help us stock pile items like toiletries, paper products, diapers, and canned goods however even the savings on my normal grocery bill was cut in half -AT LEAST! If you are just starting out and are not able to start big -THAT'S OK! You will still see such a significant decrease in your grocery bill that the money you saved can be used to either stock up later or go towards other bills you may have. It will add up quickly! Joni gives you some great tips on staying organized, saving time, gives great resources to blogs/websites, etc. I have read other books and even paid for the online coupon class after I read this book and this resource was still my favorite. And on top of everything, I had no idea how FUN couponing is! I will fully admit that I was as skeptical as the next person but I am here to say I was wrong and I hope that you will get to experience the savings as well. If I have only been doing this for 2 months and have already saved my family over $1,000 -SO CAN YOU! This book is worth every penny and the savings you will start making will pay for it in no time at all!

I love, love this book! And I love Joni too! I've absolutely loved watching her on TV and her great personality comes out in her book also. When I first wanted to purchase this book it was out of stock. Shut the front door!!! So I waited patiently for it's arrival. Once it arrived I read it from cover to cover in just a few days, and I was so pleased with her helpful information she has shared. And I hope I absorbed it and hope to implement it soon. I started couponing in Nov. 2013 so I'm still new at this. But we've saved around $25 for each trip to the grocery store since November. I remember being elated when I saved $5 on my first trip. Ha! I'd love to learn about and connect with the coupon bloggers, All You magazine, and coupon websites that Joni points out in this book. Which I plan on doing once I get my income taxes done. Ugh! Thank you Joni!
