Best price and is actually compatible with multiple Roku devices (not Roku TVs)
I needed a replacement remote for an old Roku Express+ and also a model 4200. The OEM remotes work but were starting at $20.00. This one was less than half that cost, and it worked out of the package (after inserting 2 AAA batteries) with both of my old Roku units. Didn't even need programming or syncing or anything. Just worked after putting in the batteries.

Perfect for programming IR learning remotes.
First off, if you just need a cheap replacement remote for your Roku box or TV, this will probably work. I still use a Home Theater Master MX-500 master remote. I program this by pointing whichever source's remote at its learning sensor and it just learns the code. Simple. My MX-500 has various pages (basically separate little remotes within one) to control my TV, cable box and Blu-Ray. My TV has all the apps built in but because you have to futz around changing the sound output depending if you want to use built in speakers, E-Arc, optical etc. (c'mon LG why not have them all "On" by default"), I find it's much easier to use my Roku and rely on my receiver for sound options.Snag is the Roku ships with a Radio Frequency remote which is cool since you don't need to point it at the box to work. What's uncool is my master remote can't learn or output RF codes. After doing some homework I discovered that the Roku box can be comprehensively operated using IR codes but weirdly there's no option to switch the supplied remote from RF to IR operation. Enter this little guy. For seven bucks it just works. I was able to program both my MX-500s, living room and bedroom, in about a half hour. Now I can use my main remote for all my devices again and I'm happy. This remote is now put away in the tech cupboard in the unlikely event I'll ever need to use it again but it's made my life so much easier going forward. Thanks!

Roku remote
Was as advertised. Very pleased.

Stopped working after less than a year
Bought in in December of 2022. By late summer it no longer worked. Tried changing the batteries, but that did not help. Nothing happens when I press any buttons on the remote. Luckily I was able to use the Roku app on my phone as a remonte, but it is not really a perfect solution.

la pagina dice que no necesita programarte entonces se supone que con solo dirigir el mando al roku lo debe detectar Y NO ES ASI nunca funciono el mando se tardo mucho en reconocerlo tuve que prenderlo y apagarlo muchas veces
