Great color and fabulous grain highlighting
The product applied very easily. If you plan to apply a heavy coat make sure you protect any surface beneath the process. I used the product on Poplar dowels and Poplar square lumber. The odor is there and is stronger than other waxes. Although not stronger than many staining products . If the odor bothers you, then you are most likely a sensitive person in relation to such things. The application is a bit messy for heavy dark staining. However, keep in mind you're using a professional product that provides a well pigmented waxed finish. If you are planning to cover scratches. The best process is to over apply by mounding the wax over the scratch. Allow the wax to partially dry into a thicker consistency. Then work the wax down to the surface. The remaining scratch should be completely hidden. If the color match isn't perfect you might see a thin line or streak of wax. The line would simply appear similar to graining. Most people are most likely wiping the wax out of the scratch due to the thinner natural consistency. Applying the wax heavily and leaving it on the surface for an extended period of time provides a darker finish. It is also possible to paint the surface with the wax when it is allowed to thicken on the project surface. I personally love the wax. The photos don't do the surface justice. The color, highlighting, graining and gloss is much more robust...

What a great product!
I used this product on my 30 year wood bedroom doors and baseboards. What a Hugh difference it made! Choosing what stain color to use was nice also. I put “Teak” stain color on my golden oak and it is gorgeous!

The Best Product Ever. Briwax Teak
After extensive research I recently purchased Briwax Teak furniture wax. I was pleased with how easy it was to apply without streaks. The wax dried quickly, and I was able to polish it to a high shine with just a soft cloth. My old, worn teak furniture now looks brand new!

EASIEST FINISH FOR ADHD
Bookcase in photo is 100% birch and birch veneer. Not the mythical magical "Baltic" birch; just "birch" that splotches everywhere. Wax stain worked great as it allowed some chatoyance to come through but allowed me to really even out the color where necessary.I can sand all day, I can buff all day, I cannot leave something alone. If you like to keep messing with stuff the more you look at it, get this.If the worst finishing instruction to you is "wait until coat dries," GET THIS PRODUCT.It's better than stains and dyes that I tried for an even color application with NO skill. This stuff goes on easy and is VERY forgiving. If you get a dark spot or uneven area, you can soften it with mineral spirits and re-buff the area. On this project, I thinned it out even MORE and ROLLED it on before buffing everything down as it dried. This allowed me to get big sections coated in minutes and let me rub the finish in to the surface. I'm not saying it was the best idea (I thought so after days of testing finishes and pulling hair) but it DOES speak to the forgiving nature of the finish, and allowed me to even out notoriously blotchy wood. Also the Teak looked exactly how I hoped; a perfect, slightly warm medium brown.

buy this in cold weather
I can't review the efficacy of this wax because it arrived on a hot day and it is now liquid form. It's in the freezer now solidifying with the hope it's usable. No returns on this wax because it's petroleum based so buy this in cool weatherUpdate: After removing it from freezer it returns to liquid. Briwax states it will harden again. That won't happen.UPDATEBriwax does not respond to customer concerns and Amazon won't stand behind product purchase

The best product for reviving wood on antiques
I have used Briwax for many years. It is excellent in reviving dry, dull looking wood on all types of furniture. It is well worth the expense. A can goes a long way, as well. Wear gloves to protect your hands as it does stain your nails and fingers, particularly if it is one of the darker wax blends.
