Q: How wide is the wide width? i wear an 8.5w, but i have a flat and chunky foot so i want to make sure they fit before i order.

Not wide enough. I sent them back because they didn't fit.

Q: are these good for running?

I have never run in them. I don’t think I’d recommend it. I do love them for walking tho!
