I just received the dog safety belt. I've already hooked it up in the car. My Yorkie rides great in the car, but when I start to get out of the car she goes crazy and tries to jump out. She jumped at at the fuel island in Virginia on a recent trip, she panicked and just started running and I couldn't catch her. She almost got run over. Never again, from now on she will be hooked up! Harness and seatbelt stay in the car now! Great product.

I have no complaints on this product. We've been using it a couple weeks now, I love that 2 come in a pack, they seem sturdy and well made, they allow my puppy room enough to sit, stand, or lay down while also keeping him from jumping all over the car, and most importantly, keeps him safe. Definitely a good purchase and well worth the money.

Bought this to keep my dog safe in the front seat with me on our trips to drop off my son at school. Works perfectly. Gives her just enough space to roam around on the seat, but not to jump out the window or to the driver seat. I like the fact that it has the bungee elastic cord in it so if she does pull too far or I have to hit the brakes for these crazy Houston drivers, It’s not going to hurt her as bad. When I need to use the front seat for other things, I just flip it around. Love the bright pink color. Would recommend.

Slips over the headrest easily, gives dogs plenty of room to sit or lay in seat.

I had another type that buckled into the the seat belt latch, my little doodle pup is so active she would step on it and would unbuckle it. This is way safer. I know she is secure.

I have a traditional dog seat belt, but she likes to sit in the front with me, so I end up having to tie her leash (attached to her harness) around the neck of the seat to keep her in place. Not great but better than nothing. Enter this seat belt. I saw it in my friend’s car and immediately had to order. This thing is super sturdy and hooks into my 19 lb dog’s harness perfectly. I feel much better having her in the front seat with me now, but love that it can be used in the back seat, too. It’s adjustable and can even be used as an emergency leash, if need be. A must-have for pet owners.

This harness gives me the security that my dog won't be an air born projectile in the back seat. The Elasticity built in the leash lets the dog get comfortable. Great anytime you open the back door your pet is contained and can't run out until you switch back to his regular leash. It also prevents your dog from climbing its way to the front seat.

I did a little bit of research before purchasing this, and in the pictures it looks like it would be stronger. My dog is definitely not a tour of toys or household items, and even seatbelts, normally. She chewed through this in a matter of moments, simply because she was bored. This did not hold up whatsoever! Yes, I bought the two pack, but unfortunately I only had one in the car hooked to the seat. I might as well donate the second one. I am astounded, because my dog has not destroyed anything in the past, and she is 18 months old. She has a very tender mouth and normally only choose on her Nyla bone. Obviously, it did not take much to break through this poor quality material.

This is great. We needed a way to secure my sons puppy when we are all in the car because my dog is already using the only free seatbelt slot. She’s so tiny she sits on my sons knee but I was concerned about her not being secured if there was an accident. This is the perfect solution. I love the clip lock so the belt cannot be accidentally unclipped from the headrest. The “lead” section is tucked under my sons arm and clipped to her harness. A great, affordable solution.

This is an amazing idea. Our dog is a lot more settled in the car as she can move around and adjust her position better than the seatbelt type restraint, which I was worried about her standing accidently on the release catch. She is still restrained as we have it looped around the middle headrest but not able to come forward into the front. It seems very robust and is fully adjustable. I just hope I dont have to test the effectiveness of the bungee section though!

I bought two of these, one each for my dogs while in the boot of the car. They are super-simple to set up just pop them over the head rest. My dogs were always trying to jump out of the boot when it was opened, wearing these harnesses though stops them leaping out without permission!Great little invention. They seem sturdy enough unless they decide to chew each others’ of course…….🐾

Having used the RAC clip. This kept coming out of the seat belt clip. It also meant that my dog really had only one option of the way she laid down. This is very secure and she has settled down with it and seems much more comfortable. You do need to fasten it to a harness and not a collar.

I was not sure on this product to begin with but all seems OK so far.I have always used the type of safety restraint that clips into the seat belt & then attaches to dog harness but my Beagle is constantly sitting on the clip & unbuckling herself & heads into the front seat, so I have given this a try & can recommend.
