The perforations are below the red line of the "index card" so if you wanted to tear out an almost full sized card, you just get a top stub left in the book and then a skinny piece of lined card. You would have to put a title under the red line of the card not to loose it when you tear out the card at the perforations. Other books I've been using have the perforations just under the wire holes so you almost tear off a full sized card and all your notes instead of leaving parts behind. The paper is ok. The wire is very strong and bulky but keeps the book cockeyed from front to back the way it has been applied and crimped.

I love using this product when I give presentations- keeps my notes in a neat and discreet place

Everyone in the family loves these index cards. Kids use them for school and the spiral allows them to stay put if it's for speeches or flashcards. And we love that they make a CLEAN LINE when you tear them to be free of the little notebook. Great as recipe cards too.

I should have trusted the other reviews, these index cards are very thin. They feel like pieces of regular paper. I bought them to use as recipe cards, I'll have to purchase regular ones so that they last longer. I liked the recycled aspect of these cards a lot, but I was really disappointed with the quality.

I like these index cards. I staple all the cards I get from doctors in this and I have this handy for phone numbers etc.

Overpriced for the quality....more like paper than cardstock

I liked the fact that these are made from recycled paper, but the perforation is extremely poor. No matter how much you try to fold the cards at the perforation before removing them, they will tear the card.
