TevaWomen's Original Universal Sandal

I bought these for a trip to Europe where I knew I needed something sturdy to walk long distances on cobblestone. I wore them every single day for 36 days and put hundreds of miles on them (I averaged 10 miles a day for the first two weeks). They are the BEST. I actually prefer them over my Birkenstocks now.

I saw this on another website but way more expensive so I'm happy I found it on Amazon. It's so comfortable and light. True to size too.

i bought these shoes on the recommendation of 2 friends. i am thrilled. great comfortable trekking shoe.

Because the strap sits where it does on the foot when you walk up steps the front have a tendency to catch on the step. Now before you think I am clumsy, I have many sandals that I wear that this has never happened before. When I wear these shoes I cant for the life of me make it up a flight of steps. One time I split my forehead, another I grazed my calf and after a bad fall at a cathedral I put these shoes into retirement. You have been warned, buy at your peril.

These are so comfortable! Wore them all day the first time I wore them and I am on my feet all day. Usually I have to break in shoes and wouldn’t be able to wear on consecutive days. The buckle was a little uncomfortable the first day so I loosened the strap a little bit the next day and they were fine. They didn’t make my feet sweaty or hot in the heatwave either. I have problems with getting sandals that fit well as my size 5 feet are narrow at the heel and wide at the toes. These are fully adjustable for a perfect fit. No need to size up or buy wide fit to avoid toes overhanging the sole. I’m planning on getting another pair. Great value too.

I initially bought these a couple of years ago but only wore them on a few occasions, not having much of summer where I live and not being able to have a holiday. Fast forward to 2019 and I was fortunate enough to travel to Thailand where they were invaluable! I’ve got extremely small, skinny feet (not so blessed elsewhere!) so I could alter these as my feet my swollen the first few days due to the flight but they were still comfortable. They really came into their own when I was out walking in torrential rain. Somedays it was heavy and hard, it was was like walking in puddles. These were great, they dried quickly, even though my accommodation had air con, and they were really easy to clean. I wore them on the beach and the sand washed off really easily. They took up hardly any room so I could keep them in my hand luggage between flights too. I’ll definitely be buying another pair when these finally fall apart, which at the moment, they show no sign off!

I saw so many good reviews of these saying they’re very comfy, but every time I’ve worn them they’ve made my feet sweaty and given me blisters. I can’t return them now as I wore them on dusty ground, but I would not be confident wearing these for any longer than 5 minutes, let alone hiking. I have tried them with all combinations of strap tightening and I just don’t get it.

Have had these previously and think the quality has declined. Straps are not as robust, narrower and shorter, falls off the back of my heels. Not good for someone with wide feet and no ankles. Would not buy again
