Geniale Türstopper
Super geniale Erfindung. Vielen Dank

No problems here
The media could not be loaded. These work just fine on my doors. All the doors have Astra 3000 self closing mechanisms so it's nice to have a way to keep the doors open when needed. No real problems considering the simple design and there are just a few caveats. The operation on my doors, over carpet, vinyl and laminate flooring is fine. Installation is easy enough if you pre-drill and a install the two bottom screws then do the top one last. You'll need to hold the door stop out at 90 degrees to get a screwdriver to align correctly with the top screw. As for the operation, there are a few reviews that highlight the stop doesn't retract correctly when the release is pressed. I've found that to be related to how I push the switch. If my foot catches the stop on the way up it can cause it to remain half closed. I just make sure that I angle my foot downwards so the stop retracts past horizontal. In reality, if it does stop, I just give it a flick with my foot. Not a major issue.

Good quality door stop
Easy to fit on my new uPVC door. There is even a spare screw. I'll probably order another to have as a spare.

terrible design, very difficult to install so it will work. Gave up and will return.
When it arrived I was very impressed with the construction, very heavy duty. I was disappointed there were no basic instructions and no simple template for drilling the screw pilot holes. Proceeded with installation and found that the top screw hole is basically inaccessible without holding the spring loaded stopper arm in a very difficult position. I worked through the installation and tried to test it only to discover it must be installed at a specific height to allow the holding arm to retract. The cam portion of the lifting mechanism will not operate if the device is mounted too high. The adjustable rubber foot did not correct this design fault. Again, instructions about correct mounting height would have explained this. I dismounted it and reinstalled it to allow the lift arm cam to operate. Then, I discovered the rubber foot would not grip the floor, it only allowed a small part of the rubber to contact the floor and it slid on the floor without gripping. It would probably work on carpeted floors but definitely not on wooden or tiled floors. The adjustable feature for the rubber foot did nothing to correct this design deficiency. I'm a retired mechanical engineer and I believe my analysis of the very poor design and marketing is valid. I'm thinking of the hassle to return it but also tempted to throw it in the trash and accept my loss. I'm also very irritated that now I have six screw holes in the edge of my solid wooden door. My advice, it's a very poorly designed product. Don't purchase this item, it's a piece of junk.
