The size was pretty much perfect, but I wanted it just a tad tighter. I soaked it some warm water and blow dried it and it's didn't shrink right away, but letting it dry overnight it's like 2 sizes smaller and fits tight, which is what I wanted. If you plan on shrinking it, you might even want to go a size larger since it shrinks more that you would expect. Otherwise it's a nice hat. Good quality and looks nice.

This is a high quality item. It is as good as the hat I was issued in the service. I will never ware this thing out. Sizing is spot on. I like that it is not just small medium large. It is actually a real size. People seem to like it and I get complements on it often.
