Our workmanship is much better and stronger than those who are using much thinner thread to produce the cover. We had used the 220D Polyester fabric (fade resistant, UV 30+) on all of our cover which is very thick and strong. Unlike many of the 180g Polyester cover you see in the market. Sturdy and good coverage
This is sturdy and offers a generous amount of shade around our patio table. It had lights that stopped working, but I don't know whether they malfunctioned or whether the problem was caused by banging the umbrella. The umbrella can come out of its base if it's not secured properly, and I made that mistake a couple times.

We're happy with this. The canopy on our offset/cantilever umbrella shredded away to nothing and we replaced it with this canopy. This is not made for an offset/cantiliver umbrella but we made it work. I bought the smallest wooden embroidery hoop set I could find at Joann Fabrics, which is a 3 inch. The opening for a cantilever umbrella is 2 inches. We then cut the brass grommet off carefully and slightly opened the seam to 2 inches, after the embroidery hoop's two parts had been put together and tightly screwed together so that the canopy fabric was stretched tightly. We then untied the knot of the rope at the bottom of the umbrella crank area and slid the rope out. We then pulled down the mechanism and put the canopy over it, then pulled the mechanism back up, reran the rope and reknotted it. It was easy to do but the whole thing took about half an hour. It's very worth it - the umbrella fits great and the color is wonderful. We'd do it again.

Love this canopy. This is my 3rd one but this one came without the grommet protecting the opening at the top. I made it work but hopefully it won't be in issue in the long run.
