I decided to try sage smudging my home after a friend explained the process to me. This is really easy to work with and I love the smell. It's a unique odor, not too strong and it smells clean. Smudging is really easy and I love the entire process - you can use this on your home, an object or a person!!How to SmudgeFirstly, any cleansing ritual must start with a clear and simple intention. Focusing on clearing out the negative energy and pushing it out of your space and mind is of paramount importance.Once you have your intention clearly in your mind, light the herb wand and then blow out the flame which allows the herbs to smolder and smoke without actively burning. Using a candle is recommended rather than a match or other lighter.If you are cleansing a space, walk around the room or rooms slowly and focus on cleansing and clearing negative energy. You should focus on corners, behind doors and make sure you also smudge closets.If you are cleansing an individual, fan the smoke around yourself or the other person and ask them to focus on pushing the negative energy down through their feet and into the earth. Make sure to fan the smoke from head down to the feet to aid in the process of moving the negative energy out. The other option is to have them focus on pushing the negative energy into the air and into the smoke.If you wish to cleanse an object, including a crystal or wand, hold the crystal or object in the smoke or fan the smoke around the item. Also, if you are cleansing an object before a specific ritual, focus on your intentions around that ritual as well as on the cleansing of the object to imbue the object prior to your work.

I had a huge box of California white sage I'd purchased a long time but every time I'd stumble across it, it would somehow disappear just as quickly... but because I had so much I disliked the thought of ordering more. Well, I'm so glad I finally ordered this. As suggested in one of the question answers (and as I'd forgotten), you're going to want to loosen the bundle slightly, either by pulling out some single strands or fudge with the string, so that more air gets in for it to burn properly. The great thing is, they packed so much in which means it's a very generous stick. I didn't wait one second once it arrived (and fabulously fast shipping!). Put on some 'smudging' mghz music I found on youtube and opened all my doors and windows because somehow some really BAD juju had gotten in here. Like to the point to where when I went to open one of the windows, which I've done hundreds of times before without issue, the entire set of blinds came crashing down onto my head. Undeterred and because I'd already had enough well before this, I ushered the cats onto the balcony in 38 degree temps, lit the stick, set my intentions and asked creator to bless this house and all its occupants with only good, compassion, peace, love and light and to banish any negativity in whatever form from every and all crevices and keep it gone. I smudged myself first, even under each foot, then set about the house working from the door, up and around the entire place... brought the cats in and and they even got a quick smudging (animals and smoke don't mix well together, so keep it brief) and then worked back down to my door, opening it one last time with a final blessing and said good riddance to the negativity. I'll be doing this once a week from now on for good measure, because I forgot how wonderful it makes you feel and how peaceful your space is.Thank you to the seller for selling these and their makers for doing such wonderful work. Quality sage from an avid user. It smells like sage with every order. There’s mostly sage leaves (light on the sticks, the sage is still attached to the sticks mostly). Burns nicely, easy to light and catch. I like that they’re a bit longer than some bundles too. Now a regular purchase for me

Product was as described, wrapped in newspaper (love environmentally friendly packaging), and I received the product in 3 days. Sage smelled great and is authentic California sage. It had a long-lasting burn and did not die until I blew out the fire (see my uploaded video). I smudged my entire house within 10 minutes and was still left with a nearly whole smudge stick. I estimate it burned about half an inch in 10 minutes. The product is potent but pleasant smelling. The air quality felt significantly better after burning this because there were musty smells in this older house I am currently in. I actually prefer using this as an all-natural deodorizer. I like to smudge the basement part of the house and any areas prone to mildew/mold/dampness. Lastly, smudging offers benefits such as killing pathogens in the air, removing negative ions, and improving skin and respiratory health. It also worked really well to neutralize smoke odors in a friend’s car and to neutralize pet odors. This is now my go-to spiritual and air cleanser!

I've used sage for most of my life. I've had some excellent product, and some crap. This one rates in the very good category. Easy to handle size, pleasant scent, very little spark and flake off. If I have any complaints, it's that it burns a bit too fast. I can only get 3 smudges of my one bedroom apartment per stick, which really isn't bad. I definitely recommend this product

60% sticks. Leaves are paper thin and leave sticky residue on fingers. Horrible burnt smell. Not the usual cleansing sage scent.

I never thought I'd get smudge bundles in India! They are wrapped really tight, not like the photo! Great for cleansing!

I buy these for a friend of mine, she’s native! She has a ritual to ward off negativity and it cleanses and it gives her peace of mind to body and spirit! It’s a great way to rejuvenate yourself! Great price and value for the money!
