The media could not be loaded. The delivery service was fast and arrived much earlier than expected, and looks super cool. It even came with some ink powder and how to use it, free stuff are always nice!I am very much happy with the appearance of it and really gives my office a classical touch.Now, let’s talk about the three stars.Firstly, the pen itself doesn’t sit well in the holder, it seems a little misaligned since either the back or the nib itself is out of proportion. That isn’t something major but that’s just my OCD talking.Second, the nib. The wood has a top quality finish but the nib is a disaster. It’s super flimsy and bends easily which is definitively not good. Naturally I tried to hold the pen from the bottom part of the wood, but that became difficult since the nib easily slips out of place if not secured with your fingers, which means I have to hold it from the top part of the nib, causing my fingertips to constantly be flooded with ink.I guess you could try tightening the nib with pliers or using heavy duty glue, although I don’t know why I am supposed to have an extra task on my hands to be able to use the pen in the first place.Also, the nib itself is basically to pieces of metal placed on top of each other. It actually is a pleasure to write with when held in place, however this creates a crevice between the metal sheets causing ink to go into and giving inconsistent ink flow (overflow), and making cleaning the nib that much harder.Overall it’s a good pen if you are not writing more than one or two sentences. After that, it does get irritating.10/10 for looks,3/10 for functionality.
