Worth the extra $150
I had been back and forth for a few months on wheather or not I should buy this sword or the 200 dollar stainless steel version. The fact that the damascus steel had no reviews pretty much anywhere scared me a bit. I ended up just spending the 150 more for this version and I'm so happy I did. The steel is absolutely beautiful. The darker colors and grey metal used on the hilt just looks great. The sword itself is the best one I've ever had by far (I also have the cold steel hand and a half sword and this blows it away) The balance is amazing and it's perfect in one hand or two. It also happens to come horrifyingly sharp. The scabbard is also extremely high quality. It holds the sword in so well and securely that even being turned upside down and shook is not enough to make the blade fall out. The scabbard is also thick solid wood. 350 is steep for a sword but I really feel like I got my moneys worth and then some.
