It makes it a bit easier to peel off stickers, but frankly you don't stand a chance without a strong scraper. It should really come with it, or it's useless on its own.

Light work of carpet glue remnants
Goo Gone made light work of removing stubborn carpet glue residue from my wooden stairs. It was well worth the money for the time it saved in the amount of scrubbing and scraping involved. The liquid has a very runny consistency, which made it easy to apply and meant a little went a long way. I used less than a quarter of the bottle to treat the entire staircase. Another positive was the scent. Unlike some adhesive removers, it has a light, pleasant smell that wasn’t overpowering or unpleasant to work with. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to remove sticky stuff from wood

Amazing product
Absolutley brilliant ..I have tried lots of things to remove the residue from the sticky carpet tape from my carpet I tried this and it removed it ..well impressed ..
