iDesign Modulon X/4 BPA-Free Recycled Plastic Medium Stackable Basket, 10.1" x 8.5" x 13.9", Frost

I bought 8 of these four or five years ago to organize the different cuts, when I buy a half to a whole beef to put in my upright freezer. I measured the shelves and bought this size to fit between the shelves and they have (and continue) to function in my freezers beautifully. Very sturdy when I need to consolidate what's left in that freezer and the second one. I do have to set them sideways in the second freezer to fit those shelves, but they function just as well right side up or sideways! They wash and stack nicely when empty and taken out of the freezer. Additionally, I do not have a frost free freezer (the shelves in the frost free are too flimsy for 800# of meat) and these storage bins are solidly perfect to take, as-is full, out of the freezer to set outside in the winter while I defrost the freezer and then put them back in. (I used to have to move everything out of the freezer into boxes or coolers and one at a time, back again. These bins eliminated having to do that ever again!) I could not be happier with these bins!

Love these organizers! Purchased 3 boxes over 2 years ago, mounted them above bathtub using only a shower rod and curtain rings and have had zero issues. Because the boxes hang at an angle, the holes in the sides allow for adequate water drainage after daily usage. I only have to clean 1-2 times a year. Each box is large enough to store several bath toys (I especially like that several Barbies fit perfectly) but durable enough to last even when toddlers don't gently place toys inside. I did receive my order with a chipped corner on one box, but the vendor quickly and easily replaced it without any problem. Over 2 years later, they remain in perfect condition. Great buy considering the life span.

These baskets are a great size and seem pretty sturdy. It often seems hard to find nice deep baskets, but these are a great depth. They are perfect for storing all our hard-to-keep-folded workout clothes on a closet shelf! The color doesn't seem pretty at first, but after trying solid white baskets from a different store as well, I really appreciate the clear-ish plastic. It really does make a difference in ease of identifying the basket contents. Just being able to see the colors of the clothes inside makes it easy to tell whether it's running clothes vs. hiking stuff vs. my husband's running gear.We also use one for storing root vegetables in the bottom of the pantry. So far it's great, although that's our newest of them all in our house (we've only had it about a month). The weight of that basket will make that a much more stressful application so I can't say yet as to the durability in that situation.The main downside is the cost. These are pricey even for a nice modular basket (about $4 more than my local stylish commodity store). Also, shipping seems tricky for these baskets as they generally seem to ship them in a box size that either just fits or one that is just barely too small, so make sure you allow time for a replacement to be sent if needed. Each time I've ordered a batch, at least one has arrived broken. Fortunately, all the sellers I've purchased from (I've bought them from both third party & Amazon) have been great about sending replacements without a lot of hassle.

I made some nice cubbies out of these. I bought the Amazon Basics 5 shelf unit and had lots of space on top of it that was wasted and could not find what I thought was a decent cubby at a decent price. After measuring I knew these would probably fit so ordered 4 of them. Like others have said they can be just a bit brittle and one was cracked but no problem since Amazon immediately sent a replacement at no charge. Since these are sloped a bit when on their side adjustments needed to be made to get them square. Also since the handles stick out from the edges, I decided to make them flush by using my electric sander. It only took a few minutes to sand 4 handles flush to the basket so they would fit together nicely. Then on the bottom baskets I added a couple of strips of foam tape at the bottom end - that made it sit square on the shelf. Then on the top 2 baskets I zip-tied a section of white PVC pipe to the bottom of those baskets, so when they are on their side they also sit square on the baskets below. For stability I used a few clear zip ties and the result is most satisfactory and looks nice to boot. Check out the photo of my home-made cubby system which gave me lots of extra storage on top of my shelving units. Even had room on TOP of these cubbies to store a couple of sets of bike panniers. This allowed me to use almost every square inch from floor to ceiling of the little nook that I put the shelving unit into.The baskets themselves are sturdy and I have no reason to think they won't last forever for my purpose, which is simply keeping clothes in the cubbies but I see no reason these would not be fine for many other storage uses as well. If they get moved a lot or get banged into something hard they may crack so NOT for really heavy duty uses.Worked well for my purpose and decent price, thus the 5 stars from me.

We bought a side-by-side fridge and quickly realized it was a hassle to get the items at the back of the freezer shelves, particularly the lower shelves - we'd have to pull every little item out and often stuff would fall onto the floor. I got 2 of these baskets and they're great, they fit wonderfully with space next to the basket for a small frozen pizza box standing on its side. My husband is 6'9" and has trouble getting to stuff on lower shelves, so he is especially happy I got these baskets - he just has to reach down and pull out the basket, then he can sort through it on the tall counter top - it's much better than having to stay bent over in front of the freezer, or having to get me to come over to help him.It's been a month so far and they're holding up great, very sturdy and well made. Very happy I made this purchase.
