Returned it
Hated this game, I ended up returning it. I thought it’ll be like crazy taxi but I wasn’t.

esperaba mas del juego
Talvez espere un poco más, mis expectativas eran más grandes, pero es un juego para jugarlo de vez en cuando

Disappointing
The original crazy taxi was amazing. This version only provides one map, the cars are too slow so the challenge level is very low, and there are no mini games or additional modes. Very disappointing.

This game is Crazy and you get to drive a Taxi
The Indiw developers of this game got the approval and blessing from SEGA to produce a modern version of the old CRAZY TAXI franchise. Set in New Yellow City, you play the part of a Taxi driver who picks up passengers and comically cuts all corners to get to the destination in time. There are bonuses to be earned by performing certain manoeuvres, and more vehicles to unlock as you earn your way up the taxi ranks. This version comes without all of the product placement and licensed music that would have doubled the price to reproduce and goes straight to the core of what makes it fun to play. What you get is smoothly animated gameplay, with both a tough PRO difficulty for hardcore gamers, and a FREEROAM difficulty level for novices and kids to learn the game mechanics on. That last mode means that the game won't quickly be abandoned by disappointed children if you purchase it as a gift for them.

An adequate 'Crazy Taxi' clone
I didn’t like this game at first, but after persevering it’s grown on me. The first thing you should do when you look at this game is to appreciate it for what it is and not to expect anything more than that. That is, this is a budget game. Also, understand that ‘Taxi Chaos’ is a shameless copy of the original ‘Crazy Taxi’, a very old game designed for quick hits at the arcade which isn’t as good as you remember. Part of what made the original ‘Crazy Taxi’ stand out were the very ‘90s soundtrack and the amusing product placements (novel at the time, instead of annoying like they would be now). Obviously, due to legal reasons, ‘Taxi Chaos’ can’t replicate these things. Sure, the devs could have probably made more of an effort to recapture the spirit, but it would have always been a losing battle. One addition (the only addition?) some reviewers criticise is the jump feature. Some reviewers say it doesn’t work properly and slows you down, while others criticise it for being a weird change to the formula that this game was otherwise slavishly following. Although I agreed with these criticisms at first, after playing this game for a few hours and getting to know the city, I’ve found that the jump feature works well when you use it properly, speeding along a road, gently pressing the button at the right strength (instead of bashing it, which usually leads to trouble), and using it to find shortcuts hidden in the city’s architecture. I feel like this feature wouldn’t have been necessary if the city had been better designed with hills to zoom down like there were in the original. But this addition is fine for what it is and enhances what the game would have been like without it. Overall, I’m giving ‘Taxi Chaos’ three stars. I’d recommend it to anybody who knows exactly what they’re getting themselves into. It could have been better. The city lacks the excitement of Crazy Taxi’s and should have at least had a hill. The dialogue is bad. But it’s good for what it is and will fill the void until SEGA remasters the original Crazy Taxi with the same soundtrack and product placements (a dream that I don’t expect to ever happen).

Knocks off every couple of plays
Very repetitive game. Easy and very arcade like but it knocks off every couple of plays which is annoying so not even sure if it is saving as basic menu&settings dont let you check. Should be a cheaper game. Probably worth a fiver, ill play it a few more times then pass it down to my niece
