It work
Fine option for those without 3-line connection from the wall switch to the fan/light. Works, dims ok, reliable. The only problem is shoving the receiver (it's quite big) into the light/fan housing, many will not have enough space in there, and wiring can be tricky as well (depends on the model of fan/light combo).

No longer have to hunt for remotes
It’s great if you don’t want to worry about losing your fan remote. Also, unlike the Hunter wall remote it doesn’t require batteries. Very easy to set up.

This device worked for me
Installed on 2 ceiling fans with lights, works great. Be aware this device has no dimmer function, on/off light only.

Almost perfect
Looks well made. Easy to install. All the parts you need included. Wires well labeled. Only drawback is that it can not dim the light. Now reading the Q&A, they claim that the fan must support dimming itself (which this one did). In that case, I suspect most will not dim with this unit because the dimmer was part of the "radio" that failed and was replaced in my Hunter fan. I figured that same function would be in this radio. Other than that, everything is great. Fast ship.

Great replacement for the old Hunter remote controls
We had several Hunter wireless remote controls for 3 of our ceiling fans that we had installed back in 2004. The builder did not wire with 3 wire where the old regular lights were, so we got those remotes. And they worked well until we went to replace the old incandescent bulbs for LED bulbs. We could not go over a 40 watt equivalent without the fan lights strobing. Since these remotes were made before LED's came out, they were not designed to handle the LED bulbs. So I bought these to replace the old Hunter wireless remotes.I like these new units very much. I can now run 60 or 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs without it strobing. Plus these wire into your existing outlet. Where our old units were actually a remote control that mounted in the outlet hole. These new units will not allow you to dim the lights like the old remotes did, but for us that is not a big deal, because we never dimmed them very much. I like the way the buttons are laid out. They remind us of our old units and their layout. Plus you can 100% kill the outlet remote by the flip switch at the bottom of the remote. This disables all buttons. Not sure the purpose of that feature.

Works well with a quirk
This was easy to install and setup with one issue. The receiver is suppose to remember the last state in case of power loss. This does not work. When the power goes out the the fan will go back to the default where the light is on and fan is off. This can be annoying if you live in an area with frequent power outages.

Receiver is a tad big, may have issues on smaller fan bases.
Other than the size of the receiver, the unit works flawlessly. Converts pull string fans with only 1 power source into a fan you no longer have to use the pull strings. They are easy to install, Just be sure to turn off circuit breaker power or you take the risk of bodily harm or can harm the equipment if something shorts out.

Does not dim the light
I bought this because it said it had would dim the lights on a ceiling fan. I installed it and everything works except there no dimmer control that I can find. The instructions are pretty unhelpful too.
