We have only had this for a few hours, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but my daughter absolutely loves it (mission accomplished!). She thinks "it's a wonderful tool". I bought it because she wants to be a geologist and is always bringing home interesting rocks to look at. Well, we have also examined the granite counter top, the carpet fibers, Grandpa's stamps, dead bugs, chocolate chip cookies - the possibilities are endless!

Mom needed a light and magnification tool that she was able to put on the table and place the objects under the magnifying glass and see what she’s looking at.

I wanted to get a loupe for testing Magic the Gathering cards for another way to confirm real vs fake/counterfeit, using the green dot with 4 red dot L shape method. I bought 2 other low-cost loupes on here, and both were garbage. They didnt focus, it was extremely difficult to get one of them to even partially work, and it was a royal pain. I immediately started a return/refund. But I needed a loupe and contemplated buying one of the $35 Bellomo's or another high-cost, high-magnification, or even an actual microscope. But I gave this a try since it looked simple and effective. Yep. Turn on the light, put the card under it, and look at the dot. It was that easy. No focusing, no moving it around, no squinting. And I havent even utilized the USB part yet, but being able to recharge the lights will probably be a great benefit. This is a no-brainer buy. The people on Reddit telling you what kind to buy, no, just get this, take it from someone who has been involved with sports and trading cards for their entire life... if you dont own a loupe yet, this is the one to get.

This would of been perfect if it held a charge. It only last 30 minutes at most on a full charge and I need about 2 hrs a session when looking at coins and bills. This doesn't work well for time wise

Large, clear viewing area great for checking proofs and print registration. Blue light great for viewing yellow.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the best!!I had one on these but was not rechargeable, I have no negative comments to make. I am enjoying going through old coins and this is perfect for what I am interested in.
