If you're looking for side hustle ideas or just want to see what's out there, this book is a quick, easy, and powerful read.I've been listening to the Side Hustle Show for a while now, but I'm always in the car or on a run. This book is a great collection of ideas just like on the show.What I like most is that it's an easy read. It's organized very logically sections are separated just right. You can browse the book to find ideas for your own side hustle OR can look directly at the sections that apply to your areas of interest.The book shares quick stories of how people got started, how they market, and how much they make from their hustles. The best part is that you can find podcast episodes from a number of the business owners as well, so there's an opportunity to learn more.

I’m a huge fan of Nick Loper’s website, Facebook group, and previous books. If you are looking for a way to supplement or replace your income, they offer lots of useful advice and ideas. $1000, 100 Ways is similarly helpful. I am giving my honest review of $1000, 100 Ways in exchange for a review copy.The meat of this book is 100 entries on side businesses that make at least a thousand dollars a month. Many make more –such as a gift-wrapping business which pulls in seven thousand a month. Some involve physical products (an alternative to plastic wrap made from cloth and beeswax and currently sold door to door) or local services (such as a portable hot tub rental service) ; others are online products such as an Etsy business offering customized pet images or purely digital - such as a blog reviewing software.Each entry is in question-and-answer format and includes the following: a short description of the business, the inspiration for the business, startup costs and current monthly revenues, how the owner got their early sales and currently market, mistakes made and future plans, the best advice they got, their websites and social media, resources they found useful, and links to interviews done with them on Nick’s podcast, Side Hustle Nation.Check the "Look Inside" feature for this book. Easy read and good ideas. I got a bit bored with it though because the format was the same with each business.“How did you do this; how much money did you make, blah, blah”Same questions, no variety. But the author does give the reader links to get more info on the business.

I've listened to Nick Loper's podcast Side Hustle Nation for the last few years, and so when I saw he had an actual book, I immediately bought it. It's easy to forget what his interviewees say because he has so many episodes, so this book really is helpful in focusing on different ideas out there for side hustles that are proven by others to make income. Because Nick uses the same questions for every entry, it helps the reader really evaluate if that idea is worthwhile (there are a few in the book that heard their idea on Nick's podcast). This book is perfect for the experienced side hustler and the newbie that's evaluating possible side hustles. Highly recommended.

A great read!Not every idea may be for you and I did skip some that I had no interest in. (I think that is the best way to read this book) .I like that the format is the same for every side hustle and gives you a clear picture of what you can expect from that hustle.What I got out of the book is to just try something. Get started and go for it ! A lot of these side hustles didn’t take a lot of money or any money to start. But the key is they started and stuck with it and didn’t give up at the first hurdle. There is a lot of great motivational quotes and actionable items.The key is to start!

If your looking for a side hustle it has a comprehensive list of those you have heard of before and those you have not. What made it a three for me was the standard nature of the questions. I understand why it was done. It made it hard for me to continually read the profiles but I thoroughly enjoyed the marketing sections and will be using them to market my own business and side hustle business

I loved this little book. With a Studs Terkel vibe, the author asks the same questions of all the business owners featured, which is helpful, to-the-point, and makes for clear reading and easy info acquisition. It's written very well. Author has the businesses categorized in a helpful way and features such a variety of side hustles that it is certain to help readers think out of the box, which is what side hustlers need to do!I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone thinking about a side hustle.

I've been a fan of Nick's website for years, but this book is my favorite thing he's done. It's a simple format but well organized and very insightful. Really easy to skim through and pick out business ideas you could do yourself, and gleam some insightful nuggets from people who've already made it happen. My only criticism is that there are only 100 examples :-P Hopefully Nick will put out a new edition every year :-)

A very helpful, informative and well organized ebook. I have found several side gigs of interest already and I haven't finished the book yet.I appreciate the attention to detail this author has put into this book. This is another great release from Nick Loper - as a fan of his blog and podcast, this is a serving up of real life people and how they are making money on the side. The devil is in the detail with any side hustle, and the details are all here, which is what makes this a truly compelling and interesting read. Keep up the good work Nick.

This book is a good collection of success stories from various people, doing different kinds of businesses. They are giving us many valuable tips in terms of how we can set up their (or a different) business and succeed.
