FunkoPOP TV: Golden Girls Sophia Action Figure

This is even cuter in person! By far the best of the four Golden Girls Funko Pops and perfect for any Golden Girls fan. An instant fave.

Bought as a gift for my mom along with the Dorothy figure and she loves it. It is made of quality materials, I'd say great value for the money, really fun item, and the appearance of the characters is spot on.

I bought Sophia for my daughter to put on her desk at work. As you see from the picture, the top of her head hits the bottom of the desktop monitor, so for those who tend to skip reading over the product specs, don't be surprised when she arrives and she's a bit smaller than what you were anticipating - she's less than 4 inches tall.As far as resemblance, any one even remotely familiar with the Golden Girls should easily recognize this as being Sophia, and those who don't, are probably a little sketchy. My daughter reports that only 1 person has mistaken Sophia for someone else. A co-worker asked, "Is that a little figurine of Ruth Bader Ginsburg?" To share my daughters response would probably be in violation of some User Policy, so I will refrain. Besides, it would not be particularly pertinent to this review anyway, other than to defend Sophia Petrillo.Anyway, based on the overall consensus of those with whom she works, if you want a figurine that resembles Sophia as much as a painted plastic figurine possibly can, then click "buy" and make her a part of your, or your favorite Golden Girls fan, life.DISCLAIMER: To be fair, I can see how one (truly, it's only been ONE) could mistake this for a casually-dressed, straw purse-carrying Bader-Ginsburg. That said, if you've always wanted a RGB figurine but have never had luck finding one, with a little manipulation (such as, a small piece of black fabric for her SCOTUS gown, and a decorative little {perhaps an intricately twisted wire bread tie? I don't know.} something around the neck to replicate one if her jabots) then you'll have a very effective Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Absolutely adorable! As a huge Golden Girls fan, I love having the Funko POP versions of these lovely ladies displayed proudly on my bookshelf. However, Sophia does not come with a plastic stand (no hole in the feet for one either), and being so top-heavy, does not stand up on her own at all. I have her propped against a couple of books to keep her upright, but she is very out of place compared to the other 3 Girls that DO have stands and I'm sad that I can't place them all together properly because Sophia needs support!

She is so cute! My box was slightly damaged on side and she does not like to stand on her own very well. But she is so cute!

I love the show and when I found out they sold the Funko pops of the golden girls I knew I had to get one. They are very cute to put in your bedroom as decor.
