These are heavy plastic, nice bright true red color. They wash up well and look shiny. Nice seller to do business with.

I provided catering for a community organization's fund raiser and had a limited budget. I needed some serving pieces that were low cost, attractive, and functional. I decided to give these a try. I have to say that I was both surprised and pleased with the quality of the pieces, functionality, and durability. In fact, whereas I thought they might be a one-time use, they will certainly last through a number of functions. Having pieces that coordinate and add some color that make them easily visible to guests (discourage fingers) helps make an attractive presentation that complements the food being served. These were better and less expensive than the varieties available locally through party supply and restaurant supply businesses, most of which were low quality plastic at twice or more the price.

Great for light items.. it hasn’t broken but it looks like it could be easily broken

I have purchased plastic tongs like this from a local craft store. Most of them broke within a year. When I went back to the store, the scoop style was no longer available, so I went looking online for something similar. While these were more expensive, the style was what I was looking for. I decided to give them a try. I was highly impressed! The plastic is thick and sturdy. I have a feeling these will last a while. The bonus is they are dishwasher safe! I use these kind of tongs often when I take salads to gatherings and I have a sectioned tray of different toppings or I will use the tongs for ice cream toppings (nuts, mini chocolate chips, Butterfinger bits, cherries, etc).

For some reason these don’t grip well, they night be too slippery.

I wish I had ordered black ones hard to see in the drawer.

Used for deli meats,cheese, fruits, hot and cold .

Bought these as disposable utensils for outdoor events but have yet to dispose of one pair. Strong, good "working" design and was well by hand or in a home dishwasher. Hot, cold, spaghetti, pulled pork, condiments...all good. Will reorder next year IF we even need to.

Its pretty terrible. No flexibility in it. In two weeks, 4 of them broke.
