LEUCHTTURM1917Notebook Hardcover Master Slim A4+ - 123 Numbered Pages for Writing and Journaling (Sage, Dotted)

I bought this notebook and received it 2 days after ordering with free Prime shipping. The notebook is absolutely amazing! I've been a loyal user of Moleskine for many years but I must admit that this brand beats them!The paper is very high quality. Ink doesn't bleed, smear, or show through to the other side of the page, even when I use my dark Sharpie Pens. Same goes with highlighters. The overall quality of the craftsmanship is also incredible. The bounding is study, the hard cover is thick and durable, and even the fabric bookmarks and cover loop are strong.I purchased this notebook for use as our "RN Communication Book" at work. We have 10 hemodialysis nurses that must communicate messages that are often crucial to patient care (and sometimes we don't get the opportunity to relay messages in person to the other nurses, which makes written messages even more vital). I had been searching for a notebook up to the challenge for quite some time and we had all grown weary of the cheap, flimsy day planner we were using. After much research, I decided to go with this because it enables an entire page to be dedicated to each day. Plus, the size HUGE, so we can fit a lot of information into it without writing tiny. (There's enough room to divide each page into seperate patient shifts!) Although I had to manually write in the dates, which was rather laborious, the outcome was worth the effort. We now have a functional communication book that legible (or at least allows for legibility, depending upon the skill of the authors, but that's another topic, Lol).The one issues I had is that there aren't enough pages for an entire year. I could only fit May through September, so it would take approximately 3 of these books to complete an entire year with one page per day. So... I will be looking for one with the same dimensions but with more pages in the future.

I have never spent so much on a notebook so this felt sort of risky but it is worth every penny and I can't wait to have a reason to buy more. I am learning coding so I like to color code the different programming data types/functions to help me understand what I am writing, and I like to high light a lot. The paper is thick enough to not bleed through. Regular sharpie will bleed through but highlighters and pens do not at all. I LOVE that it has a table of contents and numbered pages -that was my motivator for buying this specific notebook. The size I ordered was bigger than I was expecting (my fault, not the company's) but I ended up loving it. The paper is offwhite which I also love; bright white paper can be almost distracting. It comes with stickers for the spine and the cover and I was not expecting them to hold up as well as they do. I love this notebook.

This has been my favorite notebook to use as my version of a Bullet Journal. It helps me keep everything (important dates, calendars, trackers, etc) organized in one notebook. I like to replace it with a new color every calendar year.

WHAT IT IS:An oversized black leather-covered notebook with dotted pages, a back pocket, and ribbon page marker.THE GOOD:This notebook, like the rest of the Leuchtturm line, is very well made and sophisticated looking. The cover is of lightly pebbled black leather with a good feel to it. The notebook lies almost flat when opened up. The ribbon bookmark is of good quality (satin?), as is the elastic that holds it shut.First two pages are a fill-in-yourself Table of Contents, and all pages are numbered. (Yay!) Back cover has a sturdy folder large enough, I think, to fit standard size loose leaf pages in. Last few pages are perforated for easy tearing out. Also includes a more than enough labels for the cover and spine (for archiving I suppose), which are quite useful.THE BAD:The paper used, while very creamy and smooth and of obviously good quality, might be a tad too thin for say, fountain pens. While it is 'ink-proof', as in feather-proof and bleed-proof, will still show up a bit on the oposite side. It shouldn't be a problem with fine-tipped pens or pencils however.THE VERDICT:All in all, this notebook (and the rest of the Leuchtturms for that matter) is very much worth the money, while being considerably cheaper than more popular alternatives (*cough*Moleskine*cough*). I use this notebook for sketching and organizigng new layouts (I'm a graphic designer) and I find it an invaluable companion for day-to-day work. It's definitely worth the money.

The A4s are very hard to find these days, at least where I live. I use them for my Bullet Journals and refuse to use anything else. Worth every penny.

Uso estos cuadernos para tener organizadas mis notas del trabajo y me resultan muy cómodos. Algunos puntos positivos a destacar:- Tiene índice, que ayuda a encontrar lo que se busca.- El papel es bastante grueso.- Tiene muy buen acabado.

Heißt in Meetings (viel online) habe ich etwas, um mir To Dos, wichtige Infos o.ä. zu notieren.Lieferung: pünktlich, unkompliziert, ausreichend verpackt, kein unnötiger MüllQualität: eine dünne Folie als Schutz, keine Macken, Schrammen o.ä.Produkt: DIN A 4 großes Buch mit qualitatv hochwertigen Seiten, kariert, durchnummeriert, zwei Lesezeichenbänder, kleines Fach innen an dem Rückendeckel, Aufkleber zum Archivieren. - Das Produkt macht, was es soll, sieht gut aus, kein unnötiger Schnick Schnack. Das Papier ist hochwertig und kratzt nicht beim Schreiben. Man kann sowohl links als auch rechts gut schreiben.Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen, wenn das erste Buch voll ist!

It seems strange to love a notebook, but they are the best I have found.Sadly difficult to get hold of in Italy so I have to get a friend to send them over from the UK.
