The Fairytale Hairdresser and the Little Mermaid: New Edition

Fun book!

Story cute, Illustrations great. We love to look for all the different fairy tale characters and the ones from the other books. Love this series - it's one of my daughters favorite!

Wonderfully detailed illustrations. My 3yo daughter loves this series of books and asks for them to be read to her often.

My favourite author/illustrator duo are back! This time with a story which is way better than the Disney version. Yes I'm highly biased as I adore The Fairytale Hairdresser series. I love seeing fairytale characters who I know well but doing slightly different things. There is so much going on in each picture, with a few characters (like the little fairies) ending up in a fair amount of scenes.I was extremely glad that the Little Mermaid's nemesis didn't have much page time as she is rather creepy, but she gets what she deserves. Even though I sort of knew what would happen to the Little Mermaid, seeing her so upset and hearing her tale of woe made me a little teary – she is so sweet that it seems unfair she gets what she wants but can't speak. I enjoyed watching the prince make his own plans to get closer to the Little Mermaid in the background scenes - he liked her as much as she liked him, as proven when their happily ever after happens and the reader gets to see what happens next.Ah, I'm so looking forward to which tale Abie & Lauren tackle next! Kitty's business continues to thrive and make me smile ^oI received a copy from the publisher in exchange for a fair review - although I'm a fangirl so I'm slightly biased. My Gran daughter loves the Fairy Tale Hairdresser stories and this one is just as good as the others in the series.

My daughter ABSOLUTELY loves this set of books!! Story lines are fantastic, vibrant colour's on each page, plenty to keep a child's attention. If your children love books at bedtime and animation films you will know these books like the back of your hand in the first week or two of reading them!!

Another great addition to this series of tales about the hairdresser. A bright colourful book which has characters that the children recognise from the traditional stories. A good series for anyone to buy. Looking forward to the next addition.

My daughter loves all the fairytale hairdresser stories and this is another great story. She always looks forward to the glittery page at the end. Very well written would recommend for any little girl between the ages of 5-8

My 6 year old loves these books. We've been reading them for years now. Good length and she loves the glitter on the pages. She is now getting to the stage that she can read them herself. Total hit.
