Antica Farmacista Room Spray - Ironwood, 3.4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I am very picky about my smells, and this one hits the notes of real daphne perfectly. It's JUST on the edge of beying cloying, but distinctly isn't— just like real daphne.This stuff hangs, though. One puff in my room and I caught strong whiffs for days. If you're thinking of using this on your body you'll want to dilute it if you're going to be in close quarters with anyone.

I bought two fragrances but it won't let me review them separately so I'm going to lump them into this one review.1 Star:Green Fig smells like stale hotel shampoo. Not a fan at all! Not for younger or middle age range consumers in my humble opinion. It's very old-fashioned and does not smell luxurious.5 Star:The Damascena Rose Orris and Oud fragrance was lovely. The rose one isn't a teen girl smell. Its not a fresh rose scent but its also not super old fashioned. It's a very nice in-the-middle sophisticated rose smell. Its warm and mature. Lingers several hours but not a full day. Last longer than most room fragrances I've tried, however.

Even in an enclosed, small space the scent is almost not noticeable with in one minute. Revisits to the same space to account for olfactory adaptation was in vein. Just nothing in it. Big price, small quantity and nothing to be proud of so not even a good gift. Bottle ok, but graphics are poor.

I think his review I will share my impression of Ironwood, Vanilla Bourbon Mandarin and Lush Palm.Ironwood is my favorite scent. It reminds me of a sophisticated version of the fragrance sprayed in Ambercrombie and Fitch. It is woody, mossy, and masculine. I love the fragrance and it has staying power. I spray our living area every third day to combat the smell of six German Shepherds. It neutralizes the doggy smell without the impression of masking the smell.The Vanilla, Bourbon and Mandrin is a slightly sweet gourmand smell which quickly fades after several hours. The Mandarin orange top note dominates the fragrance. It is great in the kitchen but might be too sweet for use throughout the house.The Lush Palm smells like fresh cut bamboo. It is very green and clean and lasts for days. I use this fragrance in the back entry and guest bathroom. I love tropical smells but Lush Palm is my least favorite. However, my husband loves the clean scent.

When I first got the product (Manhattan scent) the outside of the bottle smelled so badly that I had to clean the bottle to get rid of the odor. The scent transferred to my hands and was so horrible, I cannot even describe it. The scent diminished greatly after this, BUT, what I have learned now is that the odor is likely inside the bottle as well because when I spray the scent it smells great at first but then fades to a musty, stinky, damp smell that is horrible (just like the scent on the outside when I first got it). It's terrible. So disappointed. In the trash it goes.

You even cannot compare Antiqua Farmacista to any average room spray. Top of the line with no competition!! I love Fig, Aqua, Santorini, Lavender Lime, and for something exotic and rich try Sandal Ambre and Manhattan. Indulge! You'll never go back to the ordinary.

Smells great but doesn't last more than a few minutes. I though i was just getting used to the smell so I sprayed it in my room as i was walking out and closed the door. Took a 15 min shower, came back, and there was absolutely no fragrance left whatsoever. Pretty steep price for a good smell that doesn't last.

Five stars for the smell: clean, fresh, lemony - not overwhelming but noticeable just the right amount.Three stars for the duration: after a few minutes you need to spray again or you don't smell it at all anymore in a medium to small sized room.For that price, one would expect a long lasting scent and in that aspect it disappoints. It still smells lovely tho...
