DRYFOB Waterproof Car Key FOB Container, Case, Holder - for Scuba Diving and Watersports. Rugged Aluminum. Rated to 330ft(100m)

Purchased the DryFob v2 (46 x 100mm inner dimensions) for a recent 2 week dive trip to Bonaire. The unit is very well made and precision fit with a double O-ring design. The overwhelming advice for Bonaire shore diving is to leave the rental truck unlocked w/ no valuables inside due to petty theft / break-ins. There was enough space for a medium sized KeyFob (Chang'an), 2 small spare camera batteries (GoPro 10 + Sony RX100VA / NP-BX1), some cash, and the condo door key. The unit performed great and I had no issues with water ingress during two weeks of daily shore diving.Note - Not quite large enough for a credit card / US driver's license. They make an XL model that will hold credit cards, but it's a good bit larger and 3/4 lb positively buoyant (empty). I'd rather have this size DryFob and take emergency cash instead of a credit card.

I use this dozens of times a year for snorkeling and scuba diving, and it has held up absolutely wonderfully. No corrosion, no leaks, not too big to fit in a pocket, it just works! Would buy again in a heartbeat, I'm very glad to have this in my kit.

Great product at a great price.Perfect size for my key fob for shore dives and completely unnoticeable on land and underwater. It’s nice to wade out into the surf knowing I won’t have to worry about my key getting wet or getting snatched from a hiding place.I used a triglide and some 1/8” / 3mm bungee cord (same gauge as used for wrist mounts and LPI keepers) to make two loops (from one line) on my right side waist belt. The top bungee fits snugly in the top groove of the body and the lower bungee around the lower body. I also tied a bolt snap to the small hole in the lid and I snap that into my right waist belt D-ring (I’m a rebel soul) as extra insurance. The size is perfect and if I were to slide it over, there’s still enough room for a cave-spec canister light.Great design and finished product. Definitely inspires confidence because it’s one less thing to worry about.

Waterproofness is really good. Dived about 30 times in two weeks (deepest dive was down to about 100 feet). Each time device was completely dry.

Light but sturdy. Big enough for a couple things.

I used this for beach diving and it is perfect for the job. Similar to another review, I used a weight belt keeper and some 3/16" shock cord to attach this to my BP/W waist strap. Looking back, 1/8" would have been sufficient and easier to install/ use. It kept the key fob ('20 Dodge 2500) dry and was securely attached. As a redundancy, I opted to make a paracord loop as a second attachment point as opposed to the others' bolt-latch. The anodizing will scratch off relatively easy against the stainless keeper but that is to be expected. I would like to see it priced around $30-$35 instead of the $50 but given the lack of alternatives on the market, Dryfob can command the price. I would improve the design by making the attachment grooves closer to 2" apart to accommodate standard SCUBA webbing or include a custom attachment keeper +shock cord. Other than that, a few more colors would be a nice to see along with the option to engrave important ID information on the side of it. All in all, I'd buy it again. Highly recommend! Minus 1 star for price.

Great product! Purchased it to keep our key fob and some cash in while we scuba dive. Have used it on at least 40 dives without any leaks.

This is a really high quality container with double o-rings made exactly for scuba diving, but it would be great for any use where you want to know for sure a small item will be protected from water. It came with a lanyard to hook onto the hole in the can so you can secure it to your BC for security. It also came with 2 extra o-rings and grease for the o-rings. I've had the cheap plastic containers fail when diving so I'm happy to finally have a high quality solution. (I am in no way affiliated with this company, just a satisfied customer.)

2 days plus in water bucket ,cotton wool was dry when checked.

I use this on my SUP and it seems like the safest way to carry key fobs with electronics inside them.
