Highly recommend to get something else
I'd highly recommend spending a little more for a little more quality, if you can. These are supposed to be wood, but they feel closer to plastic and bend rather easily. I didn't expect them to be able to carry any sort of weight, but I'd worry about putting anything heavier than a roll of paper towels on them.Definitely super easy to assemble, if the holes line up correctly. Most of mine did, but some did not and I tried to gently force the screws in. I ended up lightly cracking one of the shelves.Lastly, I'm not sure why there's slots for 2 wall screw holes on each bracket (6 brackets, so a total of 12 screw holes) if I'm only to receive 6 screws and 6 wall anchors.I'm probably still going to use these, for small trinkets, since I paid for them and they're now outside the return window. Good thing I bought a multi-size pack of screws and wall anchors last year.

Great Sturdy Shelves
I love these shelves.PROS: I admit I was skeptical when I got them because they seemed a little too thin and flimsy for what I wanted to use them for and I was afraid they wouldn’t hold the weight. Instead I was delighted to find out they held up PERFECTLY. I placed my three consoles on each shelf and I have to say they hold up the weight fine and I’ve jiggled it around to be sure. They look really good and give me the extra storage space I needed underneathCONS: the only problem I saw with these shelves wasI do not recommend using the white plastic (forget the name) that is supposed to grip the nail better in dry wall. But instead purchasing your own since the one it came with us extremely thin and would collapse in on itself while trying to instal. I added a photo comparing a white one that they provide to a blue one that I purchased. But after replacing it they were good to go !

Overall good for the price, but not packaged well
Overall, I do like them, they look nice where I put them and with the wall anchors they feel sturdy enough to hold a decent amount of weight. Installation was easy enough if you've ever put up shelves before, there is nothing overly different or complicated about it. It comes with 2 anchors and 2 long screws to hang each shelf, which is plenty if you do it right. You do not need to use 4 anchors for each shelf unless you are putting some seriously heavy stuff on these, in which case I suggest you look elsewhere anyway. Additionally, there are predrilled holes for attaching the bracket to the wood, but i didn't not use them because I wanted a little more of the wood to show on the other side of the bracket, but this was still easy to do by hand without the predrilled holes. Also I will say definitely have someone help hold the shelves up when marking where to drill the holes on the wall.It IS real wood and the color is nice, not sure why some people complained about the wood type, it feels normal to me, albeit one of my shelves did have a few scuffs on one side, they weren't very noticeable and I just made it the side no one would see when hung.I also like the satin black look of the brackets, HOWEVER the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the brackets were not properly packaged with any cushioning or covers so they arrived with noticeable scuffs on the corners where the paint had been chipped/rubbed off from clanging together during transit. I posted some pictures of this. It wasn't the end of the world for me because I was able to cover the scuffs with some black sharpie, which did the job well enough, but obviously it's not perfect if you inspect it up close. I put my shelves in a darker area by my back door so I'm fine with it because no one will probably ever notice but if you need them to display things in a prominent area of your home, they may not be the best.

I would recommend a different shelf. Not enough screws or Anchors
I do highly recommend another shelf.I bought the 2 pack of shelves. They only give you 4 big ones to hang it on the wall and 8 to connect the shelves to the metal. The metal has a spot for 4 long screws. They only give you 2 per shelf. It’s okay if you only put light things on it. But if you plan to put books or heavier things up I don’t believe it would hold at all. They also don’t give you enough Anchors as well. I put up one out of two due to not having enough to hang it up. It’s not smooth wood. It literally looks like a thick piece of plié wood cut and stained. I honestly could of made them myself for honestly less then what I paid on here. I would of liked to have enough for set shelves then to sit here and waste $23 for the use of one. I used mine for coloring books. It’s held so far. It’s been up for about 4 days now.

Disappointing and poorly engineered
Wood is flimsy but looks nice. Just needed a bathroom shelf to free up some sink space, so not too worried about a heavy duty solution. Still, this product is barely functional. The pre-drilled holes are off on the shelves, so the screws to join the shelf to the brackets were not easy to attach. One hole started to split and I had to apply wood filler to repair. It's under the bracket and won't show, but I'm worried it may not support the weight on the shelf now. Will see once the filler dries, otherwise I'm sending this back. There are only three wall anchors. They suggest using 2 and gave us a third one as a spare I suppose, which is nice, but I'd rather have 4 and actually mount this properly. Seems sturdy enough with 2 for what I need to put on there, but a silly exclusion.Another exclusion is the correct bit size for those anchors. They start off narrow but thicken at the top, and this forced me to redrill a few times with larger bits until I got it right. A size would be extremely helpful to avoid making incorrect guesses. If all goes well I will keep as it looks nice and should fulfill it's intended purpose, but if you're expecting something solid and well engineered, keep looking.
