I purchased this air filter when I moved into my new apartment. The previous tenant was a cat owner, the bedroom has carpet, and I am allergic.Around two minutes after turning on this air filter in my bedroom, I could physically feel the difference it made in the air quality. I have found myself breathing and sleeping easier. The MA-22 is silent, inconspicuous, and effective. I would recommend it to anyone who has allergies or has the desire to breathe easier in their own living spaces.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 2 of these! One for the living room and another one for the bedroom. Both of them blend very well with my apartment's decoration. I've noticed an improvement regarding allergies! I have a cat that is always shedding and I saw a lot of her hair ending up in the filter. In addition to that, the one in the bedroom has a very subtle white noise (mode 1 or 2) that helps me sleep. Very recommended!

Thumbs up for this purifier. I've had it running for about 12hrs a day since recieved and I'm impressed! It's collected a surprising amount of dust and, when my roommate burnt bacon, it kept the smell out of my room, huge win!

SET-UPThe brief user manual covers only the function of the buttons and the replacement of the filter. I opened the unit and discovered that the filter comes wrapped in plastic. Make sure you unwrap the one-piece filter and reinstall it. I placed the unit 20" from any furniture per the manual. Since it's round, you have to provide clearance in every direction.IN USEIt's rated "330 sq ft Coverage" but the rating is based on 30 minutes run time. It also says "660 sq ft in one hour," so it should work fine in a larger space. The main complaint I've read about the Medify purifiers is that they're louder than some brands. I like the drone of a purifier in my bedroom, it helps me sleep, so for me the volume isn't an issue. Medify says this model is 53 decibels on High, which is on the louder side, though not all that loud. Definitely look at other brands if you want the quietest purifier. I don't need to test the air to see if the unit is effective; there are sufficient professional reviews that verify that these things (and the Medify specifically) are effective.DETAILSFilter life is 2,000 hours, so if you run it 8 hours a day, you'll get about 8 months out of one filter. Replacement filters retail for $40 (per the Medify website)

With the timer setting, I can turn it on before going to bed and have it automatically turn off in the morning (8 hours later) when the bedroom will be empty the rest of the day. If you're looking for a good basic function purifier for a single room that doesn't have distracting lights or produce much noise 9on low-medium settings), this is a very good choice. I would definitely keep this one on the list, especially with the H13 level of filtration.

My daughter has had multiple sore throats and swollen tonsils this school year. One possible theory her doctor suggested was allergies. I ordered this to see if it would make a difference. Set up was easy and done in just a minute. The machine works fine. It's not too loud and any noise it does make is similar to white noise. We're not sure it's solving the problem, but she claims to be less congested since using it. Time will tell!

This purifier is awesome. It is ready to go right out of the box and has three settings and a timer. It runs very quietly and efficiently and we have noticed a big difference in air quality as allergy season begins. It can purify a room up to 350 sq ft so it is perfect for a living room and even better in a bedroom. For the price, it is an excellent value.

I got this for our small apartment and my husband's allergies. We have two chinchillas and while they are hypoallergenic (mostly) the dust we use for their baths can cause a problem with my husband's allergies.We are using this in the living room and it is nice and quiet and so far really doing a great job. I'm very pleased!
